Washington Update
The Senate continued to work through President Trump's cabinet nominees, narrowly confirming Steven Mnuchin and Mick Mulvaney to lead the Treasury Department and White House Budget Office respectively. Both are expected to play leading roles on tax reform, housing finance, and financial regulatory relief in the months ahead.

Federal Reserve Chairman Janet Yellen testified twice on Capitol Hill this week, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia agreed to reconsider PHH Corp. v. CFPB, a critical case that will determine the constitutionality of the CFPB, in May.
