    Suzanne Garwood is Executive Director and Associate General Counsel in JPMorgan Chase’s mortgage banking department where she assists with the bank’s compliance related to mortgage production. Prior to joining Chase, Suzanne was outside counsel at two Washington DC-based law firms. While in private practice, Suzanne advised her clients with respect to compliance with consumer protection laws and advocated for her clients before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Congress.

    Troy Garris, Co-Managing Partner, Garris Horn LLP

    Troy Garris is Co-Managing Partner of Garris Horn LLP. A business owner’s lawyer, Troy prides himself on a results-oriented, pragmatic approach to legal and compliance for mortgage companies and banks. Troy deals with federal and state compliance, regulatory enforcement defense, company formation, and mergers and acquisitions. In these areas, he represents independent mortgage bankers, community banks, lenders, servicers, builders, title companies, secondary market investors, and equity funds. He is frequently involved in matters involving LO Compensation, RESPA, TILA, Fair Lending, FHA, social media marketing, and other issues, and appears in matters before the CFPB, HUD, FTC, and state banking agencies.

    Beji Varghese, Partner, Banking, Insurance & Capital Markets, Guidehouse

    Beji Varghese is a Partner in the Banking, Financial services  practice based in Charlotte, NC.  Beji is an accomplished project leader and problem solver with 20 plus years of experience addressing complex financial services risk management and compliance related issues. Beji has led multiple FCRA & HMDA projects including Policy and Procedure reviews, assessment of the accuracy of the Metro 2® files submitted to the CRA’s, performed operatorial assessments of the process used to create the Metro 2® file and the e-Oscar dispute process.  Additionally, Beji has also led teams responsible for the development of business requirements and technical system requirements designed to be compliant with the CDIA guidance around Metro 2® reporting. Beji has been intimately involved in helping mortgage servicers mitigate issues affecting their foreclosure and bankruptcy processes. Beji has spoken at multiple conferences and authored multiple articles around mortgage servicing , FCRA and HMDA. Prior to joining Guidehouse Beji was the COO at a specialty servicer.  In that role he was responsible for growing the business and for operations and servicing system performance improvements.
