    Michael Fratantoni, Ph.D., Chief Economist, Senior Vice President of Research & Technology, Mortgage Bankers Association

    Michael Fratantoni is MBA's Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of Research and Industry Technology. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing MBA's industry surveys, benchmarking studies, economic and mortgage originations forecasts, industry technology efforts, and policy development research for both single-family and commercial/multifamily markets. Additionally, Fratantoni is president and member of the Board of Directors of MISMO and serves on the CSP's Industry Advisory Group and the membership committee of MERS. Prior to joining MBA, Fratantoni worked in risk management and senior economist roles at Washington Mutual and Fannie Mae.

    Jamie Woodwell, Vice President of Commercial/Multifamily Research, Mortgage Bankers Association

    Jamie Woodwell is Vice President in the Research and Economics group at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), where he oversees MBA's research on the commercial and multifamily real estate markets. Jamie's work covers the macro-economy, commercial and multifamily property markets, commercial and multifamily real estate finance, servicing, mortgage banking benchmarking and more. Jamie is an expert on the commercial real estate finance markets and he and his work are regularly cited in the media, on Capitol Hill and in regulatory settings. He is a frequent contributor to Mortgage Banking magazine and other periodicals and a regular speaker at industry events. He has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg and in other popular and trade press and has testified before the Congressional Oversight Panel for TARP.

    Jamie also leads special MBA projects including its Council to Shape Change and the Council on Ensuring Mortgage Liquidity, and oversees MBA's commercial peer business roundtables including CFOs, CTOs and HR heads. The Council to Shape Change brought together leaders from the single-family and commercial/multifamily finance markets to identify key trends shaping the industry. The group issued its report "Outlook for the Real Estate Finance Industry" in 2006. In 2008, the Council on Ensuring Mortgage Liquidity brought together 23 industry leaders representing MBA's diverse membership who were tasked with determining what a functioning secondary mortgage market should like for the long term. In September of 2009, the Council released "Future Government Role in the Core Secondary Mortgage Market," a framework for government involvement in the single-family and multifamily secondary mortgage markets and a foundation for most subsequent reform proposals. Woodwell received his bachelor's degree in economics and American studies from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He earned his master's degree in urban and regional planning from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh.

    DeAnne Reed, Assistant Vice President, Servicing Operations, Pacific Life Insurance Company

    DeAnne Reed is an Assistant Vice President in the Real Estate Investment area at Pacific Life Insurance Company.  She joined Pacific Life in 1998 and oversees the Portfolio Operations and Pacific Life Construction Loan Management teams.  Under her direction, Portfolio Operations is responsible for a wide variety of services including new loan setup and release, billing, IRS annual reporting, UCC filings and continuations, document control/file management as well as insurance, escrow, reserve and cash management.  The Pacific Life Construction Loan Management team provides client services, transaction analysis, construction loan administration and property inspections for the Pacific Life construction loan portfolio.  Her team is also responsible for the oversight, leadership and business direction for the mortgage loan system.  DeAnne is active within the MBA through mPower, the Servicing and Technology Planning committee, as a frequent speaker at both conferences and webinars on management and leadership development and is a graduate of the MBA Future Leaders program.  Ms. Reed graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. degree in organizational leadership from Chapman University.

    Amber A. Rao, CCIM, Vice President and Senior Mortgage Banker, Multifamily Capital Markets Lending, KeyBank Real Estate Capital

    Amber Rao is Vice President and Senior Mortgage Banker with KeyBank Real Estate Capital in Dallas, Texas. Amber provides clients with financing options through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, CMBS and Investor Placements across a variety of multifamily asset types to include conventional, student housing, manufactured housing and affordable housing. Amber’s experience with KeyBank includes syndications, debt capital markets portfolio management and balance sheet lending. Amber has been directly involved in loan production totaling over $2.5 Billion. She is an active member of The Real Estate Council, Commercial Real Estate Women and holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. Amber was a founding member of the Mortgage Bankers Association MPact Advisory Committee.  Amber has a BSBA from John Carroll University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate.  Amber balances her career life with her lifetime vocation as a mom.

    Jayson F. Donaldson, President, Fannie Mae and FHA Platforms, NorthMarq

    Jay Donaldson is president of NorthMarq’s Fannie Mae and FHA product lines, overseeing more than 50 employees and more than $2 billion in annual transactions. In this role, his focus is on the expansion of the company's multifamily lending through growth of Fannie Mae and FHA production volumes and portfolios. Jay also serves on the NorthMarq’s Executive Committee.  Prior to joining NorthMarq, he was COO for AmeriSphere Multifamily Finance, which was acquired by NorthMarq in 2015. Over Jay’s 20-year career in lending, he has worked with a variety of product types including agency products, CMBS, bridge, mezzanine, and preferred equity on all types of commercial real estate.  He has experience in every discipline of lending from origination to credit to capital markets.  Jay is actively involved in the commercial real estate industry and has served as the chairman of the Multifamily Committee for the Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors (COMBOG) of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). He also serves on the MORPAC Steering Committee and previously served as Vice-Chair of MORPAC.

    Stephen L. Shaw, Director, PGIM Real Estate Finance

    Stephen Shaw is a Director with PGIM Real Estate Finance. In this role, he is responsible for originating loans for the company's general account, agency, and bridge/high yield products in Washington, D.C., Virginia, and Maryland, and is located in Arlington, VA. Prior to relocating to Arlington, Shaw spent four years in PGIM REF's Los Angeles office where he originated loans in southern California and the southwest. He joined the company in 2013 from INVESCO where he worked on acquisitions from opportunistic to core across all property types in southern California, Arizona and Hawaii. Before INVESCO, he worked in acquisitions and asset management for Greenlaw Partners, from 2010 to 2012. Shaw also worked in various roles at brokerage and property management firms.
