    Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling singer/songwriter John Ondrasik, better known by his stage name Five for Fighting, brings his personal journey as a musician and business owner to life in this engaging presentation that features music, storytelling, and inspiration. He explores the roles that work, family, and
    happiness play in our lives, and how they inspire creativity and innovation. He offers insight as someone who’s lived it and done it while sharing stories and playing some of his most famous songs — like “100 Years,” “Superman (It’s Not Easy),” “Chances,” “The Riddle,” “Freedom Never Cries,” and “What If.” As the vice president of Precision Wire Products, a third-generation family-owned business, he also has ready ties to real business challenges.

    John Ondrasik, Singer/Songwriter, Five for Fighting

    Singer-songwriter John Ondrasik has spent the past decade writing deeply personal songs that include social messages, invoke the human spirit and make an emotional connection. With the past six albums by Five For Fighting, the hockey moniker stage name under which he performs, Ondrasik has seen multitudes of successes. Five For Fighting's breakthrough came in 2001 with the Grammy-nominated song “Superman,” and John’s performance at The Concert For New York. Ondrasik proceeded to become part of the American songbook with the iconic hit “100 Years,” "World," "The Riddle,” “Chances,” and “What If.” John’s music has been featured in over 350 films, TV shows, and advertisements ranging from The Blind Side to The Sopranos. In 2018 John was the musical voice for the CBS hit show Code Black. John has also been deeply involved in supporting our troops. From USO tours, supporting several Veteran oriented charities, and distributing over a million “CD for the Troops” to servicemen and their families around the world. “At the end of the day, it really is about doing your part, each one of us. In whatever area we can. What kind of world do you want?” Ondrasik is currently working on a Broadway musical, various television projects, and a new Five For Fighting album while giving keynotes across the country to corporations and various organizations.

    Kristy Fercho, 2022 MBA Chair; Executive Vice President & Head of Home Lending, Wells Fargo

    Kristy Fercho is the 2022 Chair of the MBA and executive vice president and head of Wells Fargo Home Lending. As head of Home Lending, Fercho oversees one of the nation's leading combined home lenders and servicers, funding one of every 12 loans and servicing one of every eight loans in the country.  In her role, Fercho leads a team of more than 25,000 mortgage professionals in sales, operations, servicing, capital markets, portfolio management, and related business, risk management, and supporting functions.  Fercho joined Wells Fargo in 2020 from Flagstar Bank, where she had served as president of the company's mortgage division since 2017. Prior to joining Flagstar, she spent 15 years with Fannie Mae, where she led the strategy and business performance of single-family customers in the western United States and also served in customer engagement and human resources roles. Fercho began her career and served in a variety of sales, operations, and human resources roles at Baxter International before moving to Pepsi Co. Inc., where she ultimately was director of worldwide corporate human resources.  Fercho currently serves as Chairman-Elect of the board of the Mortgage Bankers Association, vice chair of the MBA's Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee, co-chair of the Affordable Housing Council, and a member of its Residential Board of Governors. She also serves on the boards of City Year and the Detroit Zoological Society.  Her industry accolades include HousingWire recognizing her as a Women of Influence in the housing industry; MReport honoring her as one of the Top Women in Housing; Diversity Journal listing her among its Women Worth Watching; National Mortgage Professional Magazine naming her to its list of Most Powerful Women; and the Michigan Chronicle selecting her for its Women of Excellence recognition.  Fercho is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Joseph's University, where she serves on the Board of Trustees.

    Matthew (Matt) Galligan, Senior Advisor, Keller Augusta

    Matt Galligan has over 40 years of experience as a financial services executive across multiple dimensions including real estate finance and investment banking and private wealth management. Recently he retired as Vice Chairman of CIT  Real Estate Finance. He has extensive experience in business development, sales management portfolio management, new product development, and cultural transformation. Matt has built successful de novo  real estate finance operations and transformed large existing businesses which delivered superior performance and growth. He has been a trusted strategic advisor in the C-Suite. Currently, Matt is a Senior Advisor to Keller Augusta a real estate specialty executive search firm. He is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and NYU’s Stern of Business. Matt resides with his wife in Scituate, Ma. and New York City.  He has two sons both of whom work in the real estate industry.
