    Mr. Seats joins Greystone from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, where he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Multifamily Housing Programs for three years, overseeing $21 billion in production in FY2020. He was previously a Managing Director at M&T Realty Capital Corporation and served as Chief Executive officer of Bellwether Enterprise Real Estate Capital LLC upon acquisition by Enterprise Community Investment Inc, where he was Senior Vice President and head of the mortgage banking group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Seats worked in commercial loan roles at Reilly Mortgage Group, Wells Fargo Bank, Bankers Trust Company, and USF&G Corporation.

    Dana Wade, Chief Production Officer, FHA Lending, Walker & Dunlop, LLC

    Dana Wade, Chief Production Officer of the FHA Finance team, is based out of Walker & Dunlop’s headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland. Ms. Wade is responsible for the oversight of the production team for Walker & Dunlop’s multifamily lending through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Ms. Wade will also be responsible for helping drive the company's affordable housing financing activities. Ms. Wade previously served as the Commissioner of the Federal Housing Administration, which financed a total of over 11,000 rental properties and 3,000 mortgages for residential care facilities and hospitals during FY 2020. In her role at the FHA, she was responsible for carrying out the agency's mission of providing affordable housing for moderate and low-income households, implementing enhanced risk management for FHA's $1.4 trillion portfolio, and leading over 2,400 employees. Prior to joining the FHA, Wade served as Associate Director at the Office of Management and Budget, where she led budget oversight for six Executive Branch agencies with a focus on financial services, including HUD and multiple independent agencies. Ms. Wade also held senior roles in Congress, including Deputy Staff Director for the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs and Deputy Staff Director for the Senate Committee on Appropriations. Dana graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor's degree in economics and earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

    Karen Wipper, Executive Vice President, Chief Underwriter, Dwight Capital LLC

    Karen Wipper is an Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriter at Dwight Capital. Prior to joining to Dwight, Karen was the Managing Deputy Chief Underwriter for Love Funding. She is both a MAP and LEAN approved underwriter for all FHA multifamily and healthcare transactions. Karen has a variety of program experience for both market rate and affordable housing and healthcare including new construction, substantial rehabilitation, purchase, and refinance transactions. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Knox College, a Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, and a Master of Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis Olin Business School. Karen currently serves as Vice Chair of the MBA’s FHA Multifamily Committee and is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.

    Debbie VanHoosen, Vice President and Chief Underwriter - Multifamily, Berkadia

    Debbie VanHoosen is Vice President – Chief Underwriter, Multifamily with Berkadia Commercial Mortgage.  Ms. VanHoosen has been with Berkadia since 2016 and previously held the position of Chief Underwriter with other FHA lender organization. Ms. VanHoosen has worked in real estate since 1992 and has experience in retail, affordable housing, assisted living, skilled nursing and multifamily projects.  Her time in the underwriting arena at Mercy Housing, a large nonprofit affordable housing developer was particularly impactful on her career path.  Ms. VanHoosen has a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Colorado, Denver and a Masters degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver, she is also MAP and Lean Underwriter certified.  Ms. VanHoosen is active in the Mortgage Bankers Association participating for nine years as instructor for the FHA Multifamily Underwriter Training program, a current instructor for the MBA Affordable Underwriter training and current chair of the MBA FHA Committee.

    Erin Stafford, Managing Director, CMBS, DBRS Morningstar

    Erin Stafford is a Managing Director with DBRS, Inc. in the commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) group responsible for DBRS CMBS ratings activity in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to being appointed Head of North American CMBS in 2009, she managed CMBS surveillance for DBRS-rated transactions and commercial mortgage servicer evaluations. Ms. Stafford has over 20 years of experience working at rating agencies in the CMBS industry. Prior to joining DBRS, Ms. Stafford was with Fitch Ratings in the CMBS group with a focus on monitoring ratings of existing CMBS transactions. She has served as a co-chair of the Post Securitization committee of the CRE Finance Council (formerly CMSA) and as Chair for the Servicer's Forum of the CRE Finance Council. Industry work for the CRE Finance Council also includes a White Paper on Canadian Defeasance and conducting IRP Tutorials as part of the Council's educational initiatives. Erin has also served as Chair of the International Committee for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and currently serves as a member of the board of governors (COMBOG).  Ms. Stafford holds a Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management with a concentration in real estate and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.

    Jennifer Jaclin, Vice President and Portfolio Manager, MetLife Investment Management

    Jennifer Jaclin is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager in MetLife Investment Management’s (MIM’s) Real Estate Debt Strategies Group. Jen also serves as a voting member of the Investment Committee, Head of Commercial Mortgage Loan Allocations and leads the Environmental, Social & Governance efforts for MIM’s commercial mortgage platform. She joined MetLife in 2009 and is responsible for allocating loans among MIM’s various sources of capital, actively managing and approving new commercial mortgage loan originations to meet MIM’s investment performance objectives and spearheading processes and communication on ESG issues in the debt platform. Prior to joining MetLife, Jen worked at Citigroup as a Credit Sector Specialist and at Swanke Hayden Connell Architects.  She has a BA in Design and Environmental Analysis from Cornell University and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business.     Lara Osterhaus is global head of debt responsible for the US-based real assets debt platform, including Commercial Mortgage Loan (CML) Origination, Agricultural Lending, Mortgage Loan Servicing, Special Servicing, Valuation, and Environmental and Engineering groups. Previously, she was responsible for oversight of the origination and management of loans within the US, and the origination of loans in various Midwestern and Southern states.     Angela Mago is President of Key Commercial Bank and Real Estate Capital. She is also a member of KeyCorp’s Executive Council and Executive Leadership Team. In her current role, Angela is responsible for directing strategic growth and business development activities across Key’s footprint for middle market clients and prospects.  In addition, she also directs business development activities for Key’s commercial real estate clients and prospects nationally. In her 35 years at Key, Angela Mago has served in other leadership roles including Co-Head of Key Corporate Bank and Group Head of KeyBank Real Estate Capital. Angela also led KeyBank Real Estate Capital’s Healthcare and Commercial Mortgage groups. In leading these teams, Angela substantially increased loan originations, non-interest fee income and PPNR by leveraging Key’s differentiated capabilities.     Kristy Fercho is the 2022 Chair of the MBA and executive vice president and head of Wells Fargo Home Lending. As head of Home Lending, Fercho oversees one of the nation's leading combined home lenders and servicers, funding one of every 12 loans and servicing one of every eight loans in the country.  In her role, Fercho leads a team of more than 25,000 mortgage professionals in sales, operations, servicing, capital markets, portfolio management, and related business, risk management, and supporting functions.  Fercho joined Wells Fargo in 2020 from Flagstar Bank, where she had served as president of the company's mortgage division since 2017. Prior to joining Flagstar, she spent 15 years with Fannie Mae, where she led the strategy and business performance of single-family customers in the western United States and also served in customer engagement and human resources roles. Fercho began her career and served in a variety of sales, operations, and human resources roles at Baxter International before moving to Pepsi Co. Inc., where she ultimately was director of worldwide corporate human resources.  Fercho currently serves as Chairman-Elect of the board of the Mortgage Bankers Association, vice chair of the MBA's Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee, co-chair of the Affordable Housing Council, and a member of its Residential Board of Governors. She also serves on the boards of City Year and the Detroit Zoological Society.  Her industry accolades include HousingWire recognizing her as a Women of Influence in the housing industry; MReport honoring her as one of the Top Women in Housing; Diversity Journal listing her among its Women Worth Watching; National Mortgage Professional Magazine naming her to its list of Most Powerful Women; and the Michigan Chronicle selecting her for its Women of Excellence recognition.  Fercho is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Joseph's University, where she serves on the Board of Trustees.

    Bob Broeksmit, CMB, President & Chief Executive Officer, Mortgage Bankers Association

    Robert (Bob) Broeksmit is President and CEO of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). Bob is a senior finance executive and corporate officer with a 33-year career in the mortgage sector. He has directed all aspects of lending activities, including marketing, sales, operations, secondary marketing, loan servicing, and default management.  He has also served as a mortgage underwriting expert testifying on many large, high-profile cases. Prior to joining MBA in 2018, Bob served as President and Chief Operating Officer with Treliant, heading the firm's mortgage litigation support practice and serving diverse financial services clientele including large banks, independent mortgage lenders, community banks, credit unions, and service providers to the mortgage industry.  As a Washington-based financial services consultancy, Treliant's mortgage practice included strategic advisory for executive management and corporate boards; litigation defense, including file reviews, litigation strategy, expert reports, and expert testimony; CFPB examination preparation and implementation of mortgage regulations promulgated by the CFPB and other regulators; and operational aspects of mortgage banking, ranging from origination to servicing and loss mitigation.  Before Treliant, Bob held senior leadership positions in the mortgage business, including fourteen years with Chevy Chase Bank (including after its purchase by Capital One), where he was Executive Vice President and President of its B.F. Saul Mortgage Company subsidiary. Bob also was a Vice President at Prudential Home Mortgage for seven years.  He has overseen annual originations of $9 billion, a balance sheet of $10 billion in residential mortgages, and a servicing portfolio of $20 billion.  He also held positions at Great Western Mortgage, Krupp Residential Mortgage, and The Money Store. Bob has served as the Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association's Residential Board of Governors and as a member of its Board of Directors.  Firms under his leadership have garnered multiple awards for servicing operations excellence, including Freddie Mac's Tier One and Hall of Fame designations. He is a Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) and a graduate of Yale University.

    Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Chairman and CEO, Magic Johnson Enterprises (MJE)

    Having left the basketball court for the boardroom, Earvin “Magic” Johnson has successfully parlayed his skills and tenacity from the court into the business world as Chairman and CEO of Magic Johnson Enterprises (MJE). MJE provides high-quality products and services that focus primarily on ethnically diverse and underserved urban communities. Still a commanding presence in popular culture, Johnson made history in 2012 when he became co-owner of MLB’s Los Angeles Dodgers. He also co-owns the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA, Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Football Club, and eSports franchise Team Liquid. He continues to expand his influence through his many businesses that include: EquiTrust Life Insurance Company, and SodexoMAGIC, a food service and facilities management company. The Lansing native is constantly evolving and remaining relevant in a dynamic digital age by broadening his scope into infrastructure and technology. Through a newly formed fund, Johnson is investing millions of dollars on infrastructure improvement in the United States.     Ashley joined M&T Realty Capital Corporation, a wholly-owned commercial mortgage banking subsidiary of M&T Bank, in February 2013. Her responsibilities include digital transformation and maximizing stakeholder value delivered by the company’s Agile teams. Prior to October 2020, Ashley managed marketing and sales enablement for the subsidiary, and was responsible for expanding the reach and impact of these programs as well as improving digital lead generation. From 2007 – 2012, before joining M&T, Ashley served as the marketing and research publications coordinator at the (now defunct) Sloan Printing Industry Center, which was housed at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).

    Brett Adams, SVP-Servicing, Berkadia

    Mr. Brett Adams, a Senior Vice President of Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, manages Berkadia’s Life Company Servicing Operations including client relations, asset management, and closing for a $22 billion servicing portfolio. Additionally, he is responsible for oversight of Berkadia’s various servicing technology initiatives, global loan boarding, servicing data warehouse, and reporting. Mr. Adams joined Berkadia and its predecessor company in 2006 and has 17 years of experience in real estate.  Prior to joining Berkadia he worked in residential real estate lending with companies in both California and Arizona.  Mr. Adams graduated with a BA in US History from California Polytechnic University, Pomona.

    John Vecchione, Vice President, Risk Analytics, CoStar Group, Inc.

    John Vecchione is Vice President of Risk Analytics at CoStar Group. He is currently responsible for the vision, design and development of products supporting CRE lenders and CMBS investors across CoStar including the recent integration of CMBS data and the soon to be released CoStar for Lenders. Additionally, he oversees CoStar Risk Analytics, a business unit which provides risk management services to financial institutions including Daily CMBS or CRE Portfolio Surveillance, CCAR/DFAST, CECL, CMBS Bond Pricing, Underwriting and more. Under his leadership, CoStar Risk Analytics has developed multiple innovative solutions which support strategic decision-making for over seventy of the largest financial institutions in the industry. Mr. Vecchione earned a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. in Information Technology from Bentley University.

    Michael Fratantoni is MBA's Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of Research and Industry Technology. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing MBA's industry surveys and benchmarking studies, economic and mortgage originations forecasts, industry technology efforts, and policy development research for both single-family and commercial/multifamily markets. Additionally, Fratantoni is a member of the Board of Directors of MISMO and the membership committee of MERS. Prior to joining MBA, Fratantoni worked in risk management and senior economist roles at Washington Mutual and Fannie Mae.  He received a Ph.D. in economics from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in economics from The College of William and Mary, and has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Washington, and Johns Hopkins, George Washington, and Georgetown Universities.

    Jamie Woodwell is Vice President in the Research and Economics group at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), where he oversees MBA's research and related activities covering the commercial and multifamily real estate markets. Jamie and his work are regularly cited in the media, on Capitol Hill and in regulatory settings.  He is a regular speaker at industry and corporate events; has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg and in other popular and trade press; and testified before the Congressional Oversight Panel for TARP.  Jamie initiated many of MBA's research activities, and created MBA's Peer Business Roundtables and the CREF Careers program. Jamie joined MBA in 2004 from Fannie Mae, where he was responsible for multifamily data initiatives.  He has also served as senior director of business development at CapitalThinking in New York, research director at the WMF Group in Virginia, and research manager at the National League of Cities in Washington, D.C.  Jamie is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Counselors of Real Estate, the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association and other professional and industry groups. Jamie received his bachelor's degree in economics and American studies from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.  He earned his master's degree in urban and regional planning from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh.

    Reginald (Reggie) Booker is Associate Vice President of Commercial/Multifamily Research at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). In this role, Reggie handles MBA's research on the commercial and multifamily real estate markets.  His work covers the macro-economy, commercial and multifamily property markets, commercial and multifamily real estate finance, servicing, mortgage banking benchmarking and more.  Reggie also oversees MBA's commercial peer business roundtables including CFOs, CTOs, Marketing, and HR heads, and leads special MBA projects, including its CREF (Commercial Real Estate Finance) Careers and helps with MBAs Diversity and Inclusion program.     Lopa P. Kolluri serves as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Housing and the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In this role, Ms. Kolluri is the senior leader responsible for the Office’s policies, programs, and operations supporting homebuyers, homeowners, multifamily residents, and housing counselors. Kolluri is also responsible for the Office’s oversight of manufactured housing and FHA’s Single Family, Multifamily, and Healthcare mortgage insurance programs. With over 25 years of experience in affordable housing and community and economic development in both the public and private sectors, Kolluri served from 2011 to 2013 as Deputy Chief of Staff to HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan. Prior to rejoining HUD in February 2021, Kolluri was the Chief Development and Operating Officer for the Philadelphia Housing Authority, the nation’s fourth largest public housing authority serving nearly 80,000 public housing residents. Kolluri has broad knowledge and experience in executive-level management of housing policy, operations, and transactions. Prior to her role at the Philadelphia Housing Authority, Kolluri held leadership roles at multifamily development and management companies Pennrose and Community Investment Strategies, Inc. She also served as the Assistant State Treasurer for Economic Development for the state of New Jersey, and the Director of Housing and Community Resources for the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Early in her career, Kolluri was a staff member of the Fannie Mae Foundation where she focused on a broad range of homeownership issues including anti-predatory lending, the importance of housing counseling, and effective homebuyer education.

    Matt Rocco is the 2022 Chair-Elect of the MBA and Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Grandbridge Real Estate Capital, one of the nation's largest full service commercial and multifamily mortgage banking firms. Matt is the vice chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and vice chair of MBA's Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors' (COMBOG) Origination Council.
