    Nate Harbacek, Head, Corporate Development and Director of Capital Markets, Opendoor

    Nate Harbacek started his career at Oliver Wyman as a consultant in their Finance and Risk practice at the start of the financial crisis, where he specialized in mortgage credit risk modeling and bank analytics, restructuring, and corporate finance. He then spent four years at Goldman Sachs in investment banking, covering financials for M&A and capital markets, and covered large U.S. and international banks and the world’s largest mortgage companies. He was recruited to TPG Capital’s credit and special situations fund (TSSP), where he covered residential and small balance commercial real estate asset investing and financial institutions. He oversaw Roosevelt, TSSP’s residential mortgage servicer, asset manager, and originations platform. Currently, Nate is Head of Corporate development at Opendoor, where he runs business and corporate development, including partnership programs, and also co-runs Opendoor’s capital markets business.

    Julian Hebron, Founder, The Basis Point

    Julian Hebron is the founder of The Basis Point, a sales & brand strategy consultancy for fintech & real estate organizations and a consumer finance media platform. Over the last 20 years, he has served in executive sales and marketing roles at UBS, Wells Fargo, loanDepot, and LendUS. Julian is known for bringing clear thinking and modern sales and marketing strategies that help consumer finance organizations maximize technology impact, elevate salespeople, and lead the way in this disruptive era.

    Grant Moon, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Home Captain Inc.

    Grant is the CEO and founder of Home Captain, one of the fastest growing real estate tech companies.  Before founding Home Captain, Grant obtained experience in management, sales, marketing, and e-commerce working in multiple roles at American Express and Hersha a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust. Grant started his career serving in the US Army and worked in numerous leadership capacities achieving the rank of Major.  After a tour of duty in Iraq, Grant realized the value of homeownership with his VA Home Loan Benefits and bought a home in Massachusetts. Through Grant’s mortgage and real estate experience, he saw firsthand the need for the Home Captain platform of integrating the three essential parties of the homebuying transaction, the loan officer, home buyer, and Realtor®.  In keeping with Home Captain’s focus, Grant authored The Ultimate Guide to VA Loans in 2013 and The Ultimate Guide to Home Buying 2018.

    Alex Blum is the General Manager of Mortgage Research Center (MRC), a technology provider focused on generating licensed quality contacts for lenders from a variety of online experiences. MRC specializes in digital marketing and finding borrowers searching out Conventional, FHA, VA and USDA loans. MRC also powers mortgage platforms on Realtor.com and Homes.com helping them optimize and improve their mortgage channels. Alex is an analytical marketer who started his career helping Veterans United Home Loans grow its online lead generation business into a nationwide leader.
