    Ann Fulmer, Principal, Paladin Advisory Services LLC

    Ann Fulmer, JD, is a nationally known mortgage fraud expert whose first exposure to the subject came from illegal flipping activity in her neighborhood. She gained more experience and insights by working as a private detective investigating cases for mortgage insurers, as a member of her county’s Board of Tax Assessors, as an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting white-collar criminal cases, and as consulting counsel to mortgage lenders.  In 2005 she joined the leading provider of automated mortgage fraud detection services and spent the next 11 years educating mortgage and law enforcement professionals about evolving fraud schemes, "red flags" and strategies to stop fraudulent loans before they are funded.  She has testified before the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission, written numerous articles for national publications and co-authored scholarly articles on the topic.  She has presented educational programs to Federal agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Secret Service, the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.  She has also participated in hundreds of conferences, was featured in People Magazine, appeared on ABC, CNN, Fox Business and Bloomberg TV, and been quoted in publications such as the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times.

    Amy Gromowski, Senior Leader - Science & Analytics for CoreLogic, leads a team of economists, statisticians and predictive modelers responsible for model development and data analytics supporting several business units within CoreLogic including insurance, spatial, fraud and marketing based solutions.  With more than 18 years of experience she’s held various roles responsible for model development, product development, and client services for analytic based solutions – all focused on transforming data and analytics into meaningful and actionable results.

    Laura Campbell is Senior Director, Counterparty Risk for Home Point Financial where she is responsible for overseeing fraud prevention and detection for both Servicing and Originations, including managing the Fraud Investigation Unit. Throughout her career, she has held various risk management roles and has a strong background in pre-funding and post-funding quality control and investigative audit. Since joining Home Point Financial when they began doing business in 2015, she has been instrumental in designing and implementing the organization’s Fraud Risk program, with a strong focus on incorporating proactive components built on data analytics and pattern detection.

    Regina M. Lowrie is President and CEO of DYTRIX, Inc., and RML Investments Inc., d/b/a RML Advisors.  Both companies are headquartered in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. 

    Dytrix is a financial technology company that enables secure financial transactions for institutions through the Dytrix Platform which includes wire/ACH transfer validation and closing agent management.

    RML Advisors serves the financial services community as an independent advisor and consultant. 

    Prior to founding Dytrix and RML Advisors, Ms. Lowrie was President of Vision Mortgage Capital, a division of Continental Bank, and Senior Vice President of Continental Bank.  Previous to Vision Mortgage Capital, Ms. Lowrie was Founder/Chief Executive Officer of Gateway Funding Diversified Mortgage Services 1994-2006, a $3.2 Billion Mortgage Banker. 

    Ms. Lowrie is currently on the Board of Directors of Cherry Hill Mortgage Investment Corporation as an Independent Director; Compensation Committee Chairman and Audit Committee Member; Board of Directors of The Union League of Philadelphia; and, on the Advisory Board of Get Credit Healthy.  Regina served for 13 years on Montgomery County Community College Board of Trustees, Foundation Board and Treasurer and 10 years on Gwynedd-Mercy University Board of Trustees; Finance and Audit Committee Member.

    Ms. Lowrie was the first woman Chairman of the national Mortgage Bankers Association (“MBA”) in 2005 and continues to serve on many committees.  Regina has also testified before Congress on public policy to include GSE Reform and has served as an expert witness for the financial services industry.  She attended the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flager Business School and is a Certified Mortgage Banker.

    Katie is the Senior Vice President of Operations with Moria Development Inc, dba Peoples Mortgage Company.  Katie has been with Peoples Mortgage for 18 years, holding various positions throughout her tenure.  She is currently responsible for day to day operations with a focus on how to leverage new technology to create more efficient process flows.   Prior to her role in Operations, Katie was the Chief Compliance Officer.  During that time she worked to implement a robust Compliance Management System that included vendor management oversight.

Prior to Quicken Loans, Mike was on the Executive Team at HSBC Mortgage Services as SVP of National Sales & Marketing. Mike also spent seven years at GMAC-RFC in both a sales and capital markets capacity.     Ben Wu has more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience and serves as Executive Director of LoanScorecard, a leading partner for banks and investors seeking fair lending and loan-loss reserve technology solutions. Wu brought to market the first automated QM assessment tool, making LoanScorecard top-of-mind for automated underwriting for portfolio loans. He diligently works alongside clients, addressing concerns and opportunities related to automated underwriting, loan pricing, credit risk models, and portfolio management. Wu holds a Bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford.

    Tanya Wilson-Orr, Manager, Due Diligence Operations, LenderLive, Part of the Computershare Group

    Tanya Wilson-Orr has spent over 25 years establishing a progressive career in residential mortgage.  She is currently is employed as the Manager of Due Diligence Operations at Lender Live, a part of the Computershare Group.  In this role, Tanya has assisted in the start up of the due diligence platform; working in areas including diligence software development, integration and client relations.  The current platform provides due diligence review for several Non QM clients.   Prior to joining Lender Live, Tanya held other leadership roles in Due Diligence, Credit Policy, Risk Management and Residential Mortgage Underwriting and Operations including working in a client relations role at Redwood Trust in the Jumbo QM and Non QM arena.  Tanya also spent 11 years at Aurora Loan Services in both correspondent underwriting operations and credit policy. She holds a Bachelors degree from The Ohio State University.

    Danny is a seasoned mortgage producer who was previously a nationally-ranked top 10 Loan Officer in Scotsman Guide. In 2016 alone, Danny and his team produced 874 units for $391M in total loan volume. He has spoken at industry-leading events including the Mastermind Summit, Fuse, and Sales Mastery. He currently heads non-Agency production at Caliber, which is comprised of their proprietary portfolio product suite.

    Mortgage lenders are quickly learning that the damage from cyber security threats and wire fraud at closing are NOT limited to settlement firms. This session tackles wire and cyber fraud developments in the past six months and the damage being done to affected lenders. Strategies all lenders should be taking to minimize the risks — both through vendors and in their own origination processes — will be reviewed.

    Chuck Cain has been in the Title Insurance industry since 1977.  He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.  He is admitted to practice in Ohio and Kentucky, several Federal District courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit. He has served as a trustee of the Ohio Land Title Association and is a member of the Government Affairs Committee of ALTA.  He is former chair of the Real Property section of the Cincinnati Bar Association, a former director of the Cincinnati Mortgage Bankers Association, a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s Fair Credit Task Force and a recipient of a special citation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development concerning Fair Housing Best Practices.

    A native Cincinnatian, he has been a licensed title insurance agent for over 30 years, was an owner-operator of title agencies for 18 years and corporate officer with LandAmerica for over 10 years. He joined WFG as SVP in the Agency Division in August of 2010.  He has spoken before many state land title associations, state and local bar associations, ABA, ALTA, NAR, RESPRO, the National Settlement Services Summit, The Realty Alliance, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World and numerous other groups and classes on the topics of title insurance and compliance.  His many articles have been published in state land title publications, numerous mortgage and title industry trade journals and in October Research publications.  Having worked in all areas of the title industry and with its customers he brings a great depth of knowledge of all aspects of the real estate industry.

    Mr. Levonick's practice focuses on consumer financial services regulatory compliance and technology. Specific areas include consumer lending asset origination, servicing, and asset purchase and sale transactions; and assisting creditors, servicers, investors, and service and technology providers with regulatory issues.

    Mr. Levonick also supports financial institutions and technology service providers (FinTech and RegTech) with the regulatory compliance implications of emerging technology, such as blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cryptocurrencies and cloud computing.

    Steve is currently an independent financial services consultant with more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Most recently Steve served as EVP and CRO for MGIC where he led the transformation of Risk Management through implementation of a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management program and established best-in-class credit analytics. Prior to MGIC, Steve was with JP Morgan Chase & Company where he had held a number of risk executive positions both in the mortgage bank and investment bank and served as SVP and Controller of the mortgage bank. His diverse background includes various leadership positions with Fannie Mae, where he worked for 13 years. Earlier in his career Steve held positions with the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight (the predecessor to the Federal Housing Finance Agency), the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, CFO of a successful start-up community bank; and as a CPA with KPMG. Mr. Mackey earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Michigan State University and his Master of Science degree in finance from The George Washington University.

    Kat Foster joined the company in 1986. Ms. Foster is responsible for credit approval, credit policy and risk management and has been essential in developing Guild’s loan origination and underwriting systems and in driving the company’s continued growth and risk strategies. She started as Underwriting Assistant and became an underwriter, obtaining her FHA and VA credentials in the early 1990’s. She advanced to Corporate Underwriting Manager in 2010 and Vice President of Underwriting in 2013. She is experienced with structuring loans and delivering them to the secondary market; her extensive knowledge in assessing risk and developing protocol led to her elevation to Senior Vice President, Director of Credit Risk in 2014. She is involved with the leadership program of the California Mortgage Bankers Association. She studied at Cannon Business School in Hawaii, graduating with a degree in business in 1982.

    David J. O’Malley is a recognized expert in quality control technology and services and holds the position of Director of Quality Solutions for LoanLogics. In his role, he helps guide the company’s quality control product roadmap and works closely with mortgage lenders to apply automated data validation prior to loan review and best practice audit workflows to their quality management procedures.
