Tanesha is a Recording Artist, Broadway, TV & Film Actor & Lover of Life.  She starred in "Caroline or Change" on Broadway, just finished "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill" in Dayton, OH, is the voice of Worm's Mom in Amazon's New Animated Series, "Bug Diaries".     Marcia Davies is Chief Operating Officer for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).  As COO, Marcia is responsible for ensuring cross-organizational alignment and facilitating the implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as maintaining oversight of key organizational priorities. She is also the lead strategist for MBA's external activities, providing leadership, guidance and overall management to the public affairs and marketing divisions. In addition, Marcia provides strategic direction and management of MBA's Conferences, Membership, Education, Information Technology and Office Services divisions. She also provides management oversight to and is a Board member of MBA's Opens Doors Foundation.  Previously, Marcia worked at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), as Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Housing and Federal Housing Commissioner. She directed HUD's industry relations program to strengthen relationships, garner support, streamline communications and resolve policy and regulatory issues. Before joining HUD, Marcia spent 21 years at Freddie Mac, where she held a variety of officer positions in communications, customer outreach, marketing, servicer relations and policy.  Marcia is the founder of mPower - MBA Promoting Opportunities for Women to Extend their Reach - MBA's networking platform for women in the real estate finance industry. Under her leadership, mPower has grown into an engaged community of more than 24,000, providing best-in-class conference and webinar programming, networking events, and online opportunities to stay engaged. Through mPower, more women are positioned to achieve leadership positions and are well represented in all segments of the industry. Marcia is a member of the NAWRB Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council (NDILC). She is also a member of Women in Housing Finance and the International Women's Leadership Association. Marcia received the silver Stevie Awards for Women in Business 2018 Maverick of the Year. She is also the recipient of Five Star's Laurie A. Maggiano Legacy award, a two-time Mortgage Women Magazine Women With Vision award winner, and a recipient of the NAWRB 2018 Industry Revolutionary Award, and the CIFS Diversity & Inclusion 2018 Trailblazer Award.     Ishanaa Rambachan is a Partner in the San Francisco office of McKinsey & Company  and leader in McKinsey’s Financial Services, Organization and Risk practices, with focus on organizational design, talent and culture. She leads McKinsey’s Future of Work research across financial institutions, including how to navigate the impact of COVID-19. Ishanaa also leads McKinsey’s risk organization and governance service line. Since joining McKinsey a decade ago, Ishanaa has advised executives at leading banking and consumer-finance firms. She combines her technical expertise in risk, organization and finance with extensive leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of her clients’ business context to generate real impact. She has also led several risk and HR function transformations and helped numerous banks improve their organizational structure, operational risk, risk-identification, and stress-testing processes. She is an author of McKinsey’s Women in the Workplace 2021 report, which is the largest study of the state of women in corporate America and includes over 300 companies, representing 12 million employees and is a joint effort between McKinsey and Lean-In.  In addition, Ishanaa has authored several articles, including Shaping and safeguarding the banking workforce after COVID-19 and 10 ways to become flatter, faster, smarter in banking. She holds a B.A. Summa Cum Laude  in Economics and Political Science from St. Olaf College and an MPhil in International Development from Oxford University where she was a Rhodes Scholar.

    Kristy Fercho, 2022 MBA Chairman; Executive Vice President & Head of Home Lending, Wells Fargo

    Kristy Fercho is the 2022 Chairman of the MBA and executive vice president and head of Wells Fargo Home Lending. As head of Home Lending, Fercho oversees one of the nation's leading combined home lenders and servicers, funding one of every 12 loans and servicing one of every eight loans in the country.  In her role, Fercho leads a team of more than 25,000 mortgage professionals in sales, operations, servicing, capital markets, portfolio management, and related business, risk management, and supporting functions.  Fercho joined Wells Fargo in 2020 from Flagstar Bank, where she had served as president of the company's mortgage division since 2017. Prior to joining Flagstar, she spent 15 years with Fannie Mae, where she led the strategy and business performance of single-family customers in the western United States and also served in customer engagement and human resources roles. Fercho began her career and served in a variety of sales, operations, and human resources roles at Baxter International before moving to Pepsi Co. Inc., where she ultimately was director of worldwide corporate human resources.  Fercho currently serves as Chairman-Elect of the board of the Mortgage Bankers Association, vice chair of the MBA's Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee, co-chair of the Affordable Housing Council, and a member of its Residential Board of Governors. She also serves on the boards of City Year and the Detroit Zoological Society.  Her industry accolades include HousingWire recognizing her as a Women of Influence in the housing industry; MReport honoring her as one of the Top Women in Housing; Diversity Journal listing her among its Women Worth Watching; National Mortgage Professional Magazine naming her to its list of Most Powerful Women; and the Michigan Chronicle selecting her for its Women of Excellence recognition.  Fercho is a graduate of the University of Southern California and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Saint Joseph's University, where she serves on the Board of Trustees.

    Regina Lowrie, CMB, 2006 MBA Chairman; President & Chief Executive Officer, DYTRIX, Inc.

    Regina M. Lowrie, CMB, is a recognized national leader and authority in the mortgage banking and lending industries. She has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and has established and managed multiple successful banking/lending organizations. Regina is currently President and CEO of Dytrix Inc., a fin-tech company providing identity authentication, qualification, wire validation services of closing agents, and helping lenders to reduce their cost to originate. Regina is also President and CEO of RML Advisors, a consultancy company that focuses on helping clients manage enterprise risks. Regina was the first woman chairman of the national Mortgage Bankers Association and continues to remain active as an industry leader. She is a vocal advocate helping the industry’s fight against wire fraud and cybersecurity risks as part of her commitment to protect consumer savings and lender balance sheets. Regina has also testified before Congress on public policy and has served as an expert witness for the financial services industry. Previous to Dytrix and RML Advisors, Ms. Lowrie was Founder/President and CEO of Gateway Funding Diversified Mortgage Services, a regional market leading mortgage banker.

    Susan Stewart, 2021 MBA Chairman; Chief Executive Officer, SWBC Mortgage

    Susan Stewart is the 2021 Chairman of the MBA and Chief Executive Officer of SWBC Mortgage headquartered in San Antonio, TX. Stewart's visionary leadership has been the catalyst behind the company growing from 3 employees serving the Texas market to more than 650 employees in over 70 branch locations. Under her unwavering focus, SWBC Mortgage has grown from a small regional broker to a national industry leader, providing a full-service origination-to-servicing experience for borrowers in 43 states. Stewart leads a team that leverages cutting-edge technology, delivering industry-leading speed and service while providing a personal, experienced touch to the dream of home ownership.  Stewart currently serves as a member of the MBA's Board of Directors and is past Vice Chair of the MBA's Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG). She and SWBC Mortgage are committed to making the communities they serve brighter, more hope-filled places, and to that end she serves on the board of the MBA Opens Doors Foundation.     Debra Still, CMB, 2013 MBA Chairman; Chairman of MBA Opens Doors Foundation; President & Chief Executive Officer, Pulte Financial Services

    Debra W. Still, CMB, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Pulte Financial Services, which includes Pulte Mortgage LLC, PGP Title and Pulte Insurance Agency and employs over 900 individuals throughout the U.S.  Pulte Financial Services is a part of PulteGroup, America’s largest homebuilder with operations in 25 states and the District of Columbia. Still has more than three decades of experience in the mortgage industry.  She joined Pulte Mortgage in 1983, as Vice President/Branch Manager of the Maryland Division and subsequently held that position with the Dallas/Fort Worth Division.   In June 1997, she was promoted to Executive Vice President, Production, and in October of that year was appointed to the Pulte Mortgage Board of Directors and named Corporate Secretary.  Still became Chief Operating Officer in 1999, and in August 2004, was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer.  She was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Pulte Financial Services in 2010. Still served as the 2013 Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association and is currently a member of the association's Board of Directors, and a member of MBA’s Consumer Affairs Advisory Council.  Still was awarded MBA’s Andrew D. Woodward Distinguished Service Award in 2014.  As an active MBA member for more than a decade, Still has also served as Chair of MBA's Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG,) Chairman of MBA’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Chairman of the Council for Residential Mortgage Servicing for the 21st Century, Chair of the Affordable Housing Subgroup on GSE Reform, and was Chair of the MBA Forward Task Force.  She has also served on MBA's Strategic Planning Committee, MBA's Loan Origination Task Force, and Secondary and Capital Markets Committee.  Still has testified before Congress multiple times.  Still is presently the Chairman of MBA’s Opens Doors Foundation. In 2011 and 2013, Still was featured in “Influential Women of the Housing Economy” by HousingWire Magazine and in 2011 was named one of “The Top Ten Women in Mortgage and Housing” by The Five Star Institute.  In 2020, Still was recognized by the Denver Business Journal as “Most Admired CEO of 2020.” In March 2018 Still was appointed to Chimera’s Board of Directors. Chimera Investment Corporation is a publicly traded real estate investment trust that is primarily engaged in real estate finance. Still is a graduate of Ithaca College, Ithaca, N.Y., with a Bachelor of Science degree and has completed graduate work in Finance at George Washington University, Washington, D.C.

    Laura Escobar, President, Lennar Mortgage

    A 30-year mortgage industry veteran, Laura has held leadership positions with both bank-owned and independent mortgage companies overseeing all aspects of mortgage banking including production, operations, compliance, accounting and training. Her personal ground-level experience in every facet of mortgage lending has enabled her to manage and fully integrate all these departments within Lennar Mortgage. Escobar is also a licensed mental health counselor and devotes much of her time working with underprivileged women.

    Elaine Howard is Vice President of Conferences and Meetings at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), responsible for the development and execution of MBA's five large signature conferences and 40 smaller meetings, as well as other special events. She began at MBA as senior director of meetings and conferences in January 2001. Prior to joining MBA, Howard served as deputy chief of staff to the Secretary of Labor, and was responsible for planning and event logistics for the department. Before working for the U.S. Department of Labor, she served as the director of the Inaugural Balls with the 53rd Presidential Inaugural Committee, as the Director of Events with the Democratic National Committee, and as Director of Events with the Clinton/Gore 1996 presidential campaign.  Previously, Howard was the Director of Sales at Washington's Embassy Row Hotel. She did her hospitality training at Marriott Corporation and the Club Managers Association of Australia. Howard received her bachelor of science degree in psychology from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY, and completed graduate study at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

    Lisa Sun is Founder & CEO of Project Gravitas, a company whose origin story dates back to Sun’s first professional review: that she “lacked gravitas” and “should go buy a new dress, big jewelry, and great shoes.” Realizing the transformative power that clothing can have, Sun secured the global patent on building shapewear into dresses and launched Project Gravitas as a vertically-integrated ecommerce company that offers innovative apparel and styling solutions designed to give every woman a confident sense of self.     Nadja West’s story is one of grit, perseverance, strength, and breaking boundaries, even when faced with adversity. In this talk, she shares her journey from being adopted as the youngest of twelve in a military family to becoming the first African American woman 3-star General in Army history – showcasing the power of asking the question: Why not me? Taking audiences behind-the-scenes of her storied career, from taking care of sick and wounded soldiers as a field surgeon in Operation Desert Storm to supporting more than 4 million people globally as Army Surgeon General, she demonstrates the importance of self-belief, bravery, and balance in overcoming challenges. Audiences will walk away empowered to face obstacles head on, be better leaders, and remove “I can’t” from their vocabulary.

    General Nadja West, (Ret.), First African American Army Surgeon General and Former Commanding General, US Army Medical Command

    Nadja West is the 44th Army Surgeon General and the former Commanding General of U.S. Army Medical Command. She is the first African American woman 3-star General in the Army’s history, and the highest-ranking woman to ever graduate from West Point. She has more than 20 years of experience in executive leadership, crisis management, and disaster response,  including an instrumental role in crafting the DOD medical response to the Ebola crisis. As Commanding General of MEDCOM, she managed an $11 billion budget and led an organization of more than 130,000 healthcare professionals. She was also the first African American  confirmed by the Senate to be the Army’s Surgeon General. In addition to her many military accolades, she was named as one of Washington’s Most Powerful Women in Washingtonian Magazine and was awarded the Armed Forces Medical Advocate Award by Essence Magazine. She serves on the boards of directors for Americares, Johnson & Johnson, Nucor Corporation, and Tenet Healthcare Corporation.

    Lisa Haynes, CPA, SVP, Chief Financial Officer and Diversity & Inclusion Officer, Mortgage Bankers Association

    Lisa J. Haynes is Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). As the Chief Financial Officer, Haynes is responsible for accounting and financial functions, including setting the policies, procedures, strategies and practices of MBA, as well as overseeing the Association's assets . She also works to ensure future financial stability for MBA through strategic planning and forecasting.  With over 30 years of experience in the fields of finance and accounting, Haynes brings a wealth of knowledge to the CFO position. Prior to joining MBA, Haynes worked for Fannie Mae and served the company in several positions including Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis,  Vice President for Finance Transformation, and Vice President for Operational Accounting, where she led a team of 45 professionals responsible for the management of single and multifamily loans worth approximately $3 trillion. Haynes has also been named as MBA's Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. In this role, she serves as an executive-level strategist partnering with the leaders of MBA's diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a comprehensive strategy that fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion within the real estate finance industry. In addition to working with Human Resources, Lisa develops and implements plans, programs, and activities that educate and engage employees on the value of diversity and the critical importance of inclusion. Before her work at Fannie Mae, Haynes established and grew her own consulting practice in Massachusetts. Her practice specialized in financial consulting services for nonprofits and small businesses. Haynes was also the Senior Associate Controller and Director for John Hancock Financial Services, Inc. in Boston where she led the SEC and Management Reporting team during the company's demutualization in 2000. Haynes holds a Master of Business Administration from the Boston University Graduate School of Management, Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bentley College, and is certified as a public accountant in the state of Virginia

    Mika Brzezinski is the co-host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, founder of “Know Your Value” and author of four best-selling books. In 2018, Mika was awarded with the New York Women in Communications’ Matrix Award. Mika, along with Morning Joe co-host Joe Scarborough, was inducted into the Cable News Hall of Fame in 2016. Mika also served as a Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Politics at Harvard’s Kennedy School in the fall of 2017.     Marcia Davies is Chief Operating Officer for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA).  As COO, Marcia is responsible for ensuring cross-organizational alignment and facilitating the implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as maintaining oversight of key organizational priorities. She is also the lead strategist for MBA's external activities, providing leadership, guidance and overall management to the public affairs and marketing divisions. In addition, Marcia provides strategic direction and management of MBA's Conferences, Membership, Education, Information Technology and Office Services divisions. She also provides management oversight to and is a Board member of MBA's Opens Doors Foundation.  Previously, Marcia worked at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), as Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for Housing and Federal Housing Commissioner. She directed HUD's industry relations program to strengthen relationships, garner support, streamline communications and resolve policy and regulatory issues. Before joining HUD, Marcia spent 21 years at Freddie Mac, where she held a variety of officer positions in communications, customer outreach, marketing, servicer relations and policy.  Marcia is the founder of mPower - MBA Promoting Opportunities for Women to Extend their Reach - MBA's networking platform for women in the real estate finance industry. She hails from Chicago but resides in NY, where her Grammy-nominated choir, The Broadway Inspirational Voices, was just honored with the 2019 Tony Award for Excellence in Theatre. Tanesha is a Recording Artist, Broadway, TV & Film Actor & Lover of Life.  She starred in "Caroline or Change" on Broadway, just finished "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar & Grill" in Dayton, OH, is the voice of Worm's Mom in Amazon's New Animated Series, "Bug Diaries".
