    Bill Cosgrove, CMB, 2015 MBA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Union Home Mortgage Corp.

    Bill Cosgrove, served as the 2015 Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association. He is the Owner and CEO of Union Home Mortgage Corp. headquartered in Strongsville, Ohio. His mortgage banking career began in 1986 as a residential loan officer. In 1994 Mr. Cosgrove joined Union National Mortgage Co. and in 1998 was named President. Mr. Cosgrove purchased and became 100% stockholder of the company in 1999. In 2013, the Company’s name was changed to Union Home Mortgage Corp. to reflect the Company’s mission of supporting successful homeownership in America.

    In 2007-2008 Mr. Cosgrove was President of the Ohio Mortgage Bankers Association. He is the first person from Ohio to serve as both President of the Ohio MBA and Chairman of National MBA.

    He has served the National Mortgage Bankers Association’s Residential Board of Governors, the Steering Committee of RESBOG and currently serves the Board of Directors as Chairman.

    From 2008 to 2010, Bill was the National Chairman for MBA’s MORPAC Committee. This prestigious appointment consists of leading the fund raising efforts for MORPAC throughout the country. MORPAC raised $1.1 million for industry activism during Bill’s Chairmanship of MORPAC.

    In 2000 at the age of 38 he was named in Crain’s Cleveland Business “40 under 40” honored as one of the top 40 young executives in Northeast Ohio. In 2003 Mr. Cosgrove was inducted into the Bedford, Ohio High School Distinguished Hall Of Fame for his accomplishments in Mortgage Banking. In 2004, he earned the coveted Certified Mortgage Banker designation (CMB). In 2008, he was awarded the distinguished Hoddup Award for his many contributions to the Ohio Mortgage Bankers Association and In 2011 Bill was awarded the National Mortgage Bankers Associations Burton C. Wood, National Legislative Service Award for his superior legislative efforts representing the mortgage banking industry.

    Mr. Cosgrove has testified on behalf of the industry in Washington D.C before the House Financial Services Sub Committee, Senate Banking Committee and the Ohio House of Representatives. He has been interviewed by national publications, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, numerous trade publications, national and local news networks.

    Dan Crockett, President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Franklin American Mortgage Company

    Dan Crockett founded Franklin American Mortgage in September of 1994 and serves as the company’s President/CEO. Under Mr. Crockett’s leadership, the company has grown from a small brokerage operation into one of the top-15 mortgage banking companies in the nation. Prior to serving as the company’s President and CEO, Mr. Crockett was a financial planner with J.H. Shoemaker & Company, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Crockett earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Lambuth University in 1991 and is a graduate of the MBA School of Mortgage Banking. He is the Co-Chairman of the IMB Executive Council for the MBA, serves on the Board of the Housing Policy Council, and is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and the Tennessee Mortgage Bankers Association. Mr. Crockett also serves on the Executive Board of the Nashville Sports Council, the Board of Directors for the Golf Club of Tennessee, and the Board of Trustees for the Tennessee Golf Foundation. In addition, Mr. Crockett was formerly on the Board of the National Mortgage Bankers Association, the Board of Directors for the Nashville Chapter of Junior Achievement, and the Board of Trustees for Belmont University. He also previously served as the Chairman for the Council on the Future of FHA. Mr. Crockett was awarded the Entrepreneur of the Year by the Nashville Business Journal and The Tennessean newspaper in 2003, and was inducted to the Nashville Entrepreneur Center Hall of Fame in 2013 and the Williamson County Impact Awards Hall of Fame in 2015.

    Jamie Korus, CMB, President, Alliance Home Loans

    Jamie Korus, CMB is the President of Alliance Home Loans which is an independent mortgage banker focusing on traditional mortgage banking developed through retail locations and as well as a Consumer Direct Division.
    Jamie is very active in the MBA and is the 2015-2016 Chairman of the MBA political action committee, MORPAC. She currently serves on the Board of Directors, Residential Board of Governors, and the Advisory Board of the MBA Opens Doors Foundation. In addition to being a graduate of the MBA’s Future Leaders Program, she is also the recipient of the Schumacher-Bolduc Award and the Opens Doors Community Champion Award.

    She has spent time developing course work as well as instructing classes required for the Mortgage Loan Originators License and Responsible Individual Classes at the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business.
    Jaime received her Master of Arts from the Department of Communication University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and BA in Communication and a BS in Psychology from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

    Keith Polaski, Co-Founder, COO & Principle, Radius Financial Group, Inc.

    Keith Polaski is the Co-Founder, COO & Principle for Radius Financial Group, Inc. Under his leadership, the company has become one of New England’s leading, private mortgage banks generating over $375 million in closed loan volume for 2014. Keith has been prominently recognized for rapidly pushing radius to unprecedented levels of revenue growth, revolutionizing the Next Generation of Independent Mortgage Bankers and gaining acknowledgment nationally and locally as one of the industry’s best from the likes of Inc. Magazine, Scotsman Guide, Bankers & Tradesman, Boston Globe and the NY Times.

    Jeffrey Schummer, Vice President, Education Development, Mortgage Bankers Association

    Jeffrey M. Schummer is Vice President of Education Development at the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). In this role, Schummer is responsible for driving business development and growth of MBA's residential, commercial and multifamily educational, professional development and knowledge based programs under the MBA Education brand.  Schummer's experience includes designing and implementing mortgage banking educational content through e-class, webinar, and live instructor sessions in servicing, origination, underwriting, compliance and business operations for mid and large size lenders, multi-billion dollar banking institutions and FHA.  Before joining MBA, Schummer was a Servicing Relationship Manager for Single Family at the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) where he supported servicer FHA loss mitigation improvement efforts. He also served as President of Property & Casualty at Financial Independence and Senior Vice President at Wachovia Corporation. In addition, he held several executive level positions in Loan Servicing, Sales Production and Corporate Training at World Savings & Loan in San Antonio, Texas.

    Tony Thompson, CMB, AMP, Vice President, Growth & Strategy, Silverton Mortgage Specialists

    J. Tony Thompson, III, CMB is Vice President of Growth & Strategy for Silverton Mortgage, the largest privately held lender in Georgia and one of the fastest growing mortgage lenders in the Southeast. Mr. Thompson is responsible for the strategy and sales growth of the company. Prior to joining Silverton Mortgage, he was the Southeast Regional Manager for Guaranteed Rate. While under his leadership, his region became one of the fastest growing regions within the company. Over the last 10 years in the industry, Mr. Thompson has personally hired over 500 loan originators. Additionally, Mr. Thompson is a member of the MBA Loan Production Committee and recently recognized as a 2014 Future Leader through the MBA’s Future Leaders Program. He has a strong passion and commitment for building teams and mentoring young mortgage professionals.

    Paul Anastos, President, Mortgage Master, Inc. dba LoanDepot

    Paul Anastos is President of Mortgage Master. Paul has been with Mortgage Master, now a division of loanDepot.com, LLC., since 2003. Paul is responsible for all of the brand’s nationwide sales and operations including end-to-end management of the overall strategic direction of the organization. Under Paul’s leadership, Mortgage Master has expanded from 2 locations and 150 employees to 40 locations and over 750 employees. Since its inception, the Company has funded over $60 billion in total loan volume assisting over 115,000 customers. Before being named President, Paul served as its Chief Financial Officer responsible for all financial and strategic functions of the business helping to better position the company for the growth it has enjoyed under his tenure.

    Prior to 2003, Paul served on the management team of Ernst & Young’s Mergers and Acquisitions group and was responsible for consulting companies on their strategic growth plans.

    Paul graduated from Bentley College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

    Daniel Diepenhorst, President, Legacy Mutual Mortgage

    Dan Diepenhorst is the Founder and CEO of Legacy Mutual Mortgage based in San Antonio, Texas. Following a career as a Top Producing Loan Officer, Dan founded Legacy Mutual Mortgage in 2003 with as a boutique retail lender. The journey has included becoming a correspondent lender, merging with a federally chartered bank and becoming a Fannie Mae Direct Lender. Legacy Mutual Mortgage currently has 33 Loan Officers that will fund 4000 Loans for $1 Billion in 2015. Dan earned a BBA in Finance from Texas State University, is the past President of the San Antonio Chapter of the TMBA and serves on the Foundation Board for Texas State University. Dan and his wife Cindee have enjoyed 21 years of marriage and have two children, Desaree LaMaccia and Joshua Diepenhorst. Dan & Cindee are members and supporters of Community Bible Church and supporters of many non-profits including: San Antonio Food Bank, Meals on Wheels and Children’s Hunger Fund.

    Mitchel H. Kider, Esq., Chairman and Managing Partner, Weiner Brodsky Kider PC

    Mitchel H. Kider is the Chairman and Managing Partner of Weiner Brodsky Kider PC, a national law firm specializing in the representation of financial institutions, residential homebuilders, and real estate settlement service providers. In his 34 years as a practicing attorney, Mitch has represented banks, mortgage companies, homebuilders, credit card issuers, and other financial service companies in a broad range of litigation and regulatory and compliance matters. He represents clients in investigative and enforcement actions before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and various state and local regulatory authorities and Attorneys General offices. Mitch speaks frequently on regulatory and litigation matters before trade associations and other industry groups. He is a Fellow of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers, and a Faculty Fellow of the Mortgage Bankers Association. Mitch is the author of six books pertaining to residential mortgage finance and also has written numerous law review and real estate journal articles on the subject. His most recent books are Consumer Protection and Mortgage Regulation Under Dodd-Frank (West/Thomson Reuters 2015) and Real Estate and Mortgage Banking: A New Era of Regulatory Reform (West/Thomson Reuters 2014-2015).

    Joe Nunziata, CMB, CRO, Co-CEO, FBC Mortgage, LLC

    Joe Nunziata is the Co-CEO/ CMB of FBC Mortgage, LLC. Joe also served as CEO and President of The Sterne Agee Group, an investment banking firm. Prior to co-founding FBC Mortgage LLC, Joe was the SVP/District Manager for First Horizon Home Loans, a NYSE listed company from October 2003 until November 2005.

    Joe was a shareholder and Vice President at American Heritage Mortgage Corp. from June 1989 until October 2003. Joe currently serves on the boards of Florida Bank of Commerce, The Florida Hospital Foundation, FBC Mortgage Charitable Foundation, and Lake Highland Preparatory School. He has served on the boards of Southern Community Bank, Fifth Third Bank of Central Florida, MBA’s Legislative Committee, YPO, and the Leukemia Society. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Business from the University of South Florida, where he graduated with honors.

    Joe was named Executive of the Year by The Orlando Business Journal and was chosen as one of Florida’s Top 10 Businessmen to Watch. He has been a contributor to CNBC, seen on Fox News, and CF News 13. Joe lives in Winter Park Florida with his family.

    Kenneth F. Richey, AMP, Managing Partner, Richey, May & Co., LLP

    Kenneth F. Richey founded Richey May & Co. in 1985 and he currently serves as the firm’s Managing Partner. In his role as Managing Partner, Ken’s primary responsibilities include leading firm growth and supporting the firm’s partners in their leadership, management, and technical problem-solving efforts.

    Under his leadership, the firm has consistently grown every year and has been recognized numerous times by Inside Public Accounting as one of the Best of the Best accounting firms in the country. Ken has instilled a passion for excellence and client service within his leadership and management teams. He works closely with his team to create value-added tax and business advisory solutions for closely held businesses and their owners.

    Ken works directly with clients to create customized business and tax planning strategies.
