    Charles E. Epperson is the Chief Technology Officer for MRN3 Family of Companies which includes MRN3, SigniaDocs and DepotPoint.  He has over 20 years of Information Systems and IT management experience in the areas of operations, programming, business analysis, software design and development, and electronic commerce and eMortgage technologies/implementation.  Charles joined the MRN3 Family in 2009 after 10 years spent with Stewart Title in the leadership role of eMortgage technology and development.  In his current position, he is active in the research, development and implementation of paperless real estate transactions, electronic intelligent document production, electronic mortgage transactions and e-closings utilizing enforceable electronic document, digital signatures, electronic storage, delivery, and the use of secure virtual transaction folders for all real estate transaction participants.   In cooperation with the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) and the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO) Technology Workgroups, Charles has co-authored many real-estate industry national data standards, including the MISMO Title Insurance Request/Response, Multiple Services, and the PRIA Electronic Recording/Request/Response/SOAP XML DTDs and Schemas.  Likewise, he is actively working on industry standards for electronic mortgage transactions and XHTML SMART® Doc documents as well as various business and technologies for the county and municipal courts and recorders/clerks offices.

    Robin Belanger is a Governance Director at Fannie Mae responsible for relationship management of Fannie Mae’s Single Family Custody and Director of Operations for Fannie Mae’s Multifamily Certification and Custody.     Since joining Fannie Mae in 2010, Robin has held positions of Manager of Multifamily Certification and Custody and Director of Multifamily Acquisitions.  Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Robin spend over 25 years in the banking industry and has held the position of Senior Vice President of Wachovia’s Document Custody business and spent 14 years at Shawmut Bank working in both retail and corporate trust operations.    Robin has worked closely with the Mortgage Bankers of America’s Document Custody Committee where she served as roles of Chair and Vice Chair.    She has actively participated in industry panels at various MBA conferences.

    Maria Garner is a Senior Vice President, Group Operations Manager with ReconTrust Company, N. A.  Maria is responsible for Business Planning, Investor Compliance and Project Management.  Maria also holds a leadership role in Mortgage Banking Association’s Agency/Education workgroup.  She is a member of the MBA Document Custody Workshop Workgroup, a workgroup that organizes and facilitates the MBA Document Custody Workshops held annually in Washington DC. Maria is a member and key contributor to the Agency focus groups, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae.   She has been with Bank of America for 19 years and has over 20 years’ experience in the Mortgage Banking industry.  Maria attended University of the Philippines where she attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Economics.

    Andrea L. Bridgeman has practiced real estate and securities law since 1988 at Freddie Mac, where she currently supports document custody, counterparty credit risk and other mortgage-facing business units, and participates with the Legal Division’s pro bono program.  She can’t recall anything about her life prior to joining Freddie Mac. 

    Andrea is a member of the Virginia Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission and has worked closely with several bar associations, particularly on pro bono matters and supporting civil legal aid providers and their clients.

    A native Virginian and a graduate of UVA Law School and Bryn Mawr College, she lives in McLean with her husband and the pets left behind by their adult daughter.

    Nikita Savinov, Settlement Operations Associate, Freddie Mac

    Nikita Savinov is a Settlement Operations Associate in Freddie Mac’s Loan Acquisitions department. He is responsible for operational functions supporting the eNote space, as well as loan delivery and funding. He works closely with Lauren Sheker on the Quarterly Note Tracking Validation process. Nikita was previously a tester with the Loan Product Advisor application and has been with Freddie Mac for 2 years. Is a graduate of University of Maryland.

    Lauren Sheker is a Settlement Operations Professional in Freddie Mac’s Loan Acquisitions department. She is responsible for operational functions supporting loan delivery and funding. She is also the lead for document custody operations, managing the Quarterly Note Tracking Validation process, relationship management, and other baseline functions. Prior to joining the Loan Acquisitions team, Lauren worked in CORE (Counterparty Operational Risk Evaluation), reviewing Counterparties and Document Custodians for compliance with the Freddie Mac Guide.  She has worked at Freddie Mac for 13 years.

Stephanie joined Fleet National Bank in 1991, later acquired by U.S. Bank in 1999 and is currently Site Manager for the Florence, SC Document Custody office and U.S. Bank Document Custody Services’ National Liaison with the GSEs and GNMA.  With over 25 years of Document Custody experience, Stephanie has substantial knowledge of GNMA, FNMA, and FHLMC agency guidelines, as well as vault maintenance, servicing standards, project management and implementation, and budget and revenue planning.  Stephanie has been an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Document Custody Committee and Agency Sub-committee since 2000 and has been co-chair of the Workshop Workgroup since 2012.     Angel Hernandez, Policy and Program Development Specialist, Ginnie Mae

    Angel R. Hernandez serves as a Presidential Management Fellow for Ginnie Mae. In his present role with the Office of Issuer and Portfolio Management, Angel leads policy and program development initiatives, which include the publication of guidance for MBS Issuers and Document Custodians. Angel also collaborates with the Office of General Counsel and the Office of Securities Operations to implement Ginnie Mae’s system modernization.
