    Fowler Williams, CMB joined Crescent Mortgage Company in 1999. In his tenure with the company he has served as Account Executive, National Sales Manager, Executive Vice President over sales and operations. Currently he serves as a Director, President, and CEO.

    He holds the highest designation in the mortgage industry, Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB).

    Mr. Williams serves as immediate past Chairman of the Mortgage Action Alliance (MAA), Chairman of the Community Bank and Credit Union Network (CBCUN), and serves on Independent Mortgage Bankers Executive Counsel, Regulatory Compliance Committee and as Ambassador to the state of Georgia for the Mortgage Bankers Association.

    Mr. Williams currently sits on the Customer Advisory Boards of Freddie Mac and Accenture Mortgage Cadence. He was named to the forty most influential mortgage professionals under 40 by National Mortgage Professional magazine on multiple occasions. Mr. Williams regularly  is a featured speaker at national and state associations of mortgage lenders, real estate professionals, community banks, and credit unions.

    Robert M. Jaworski, Esq. , Partner , Reed Smith, LLP

    Robert M. Jaworski is a partner in the Financial Services Regulatory Group of Reed Smith, LLP in Princeton, New Jersey.  He is a former Deputy Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Banking, former Chair of the New Jersey Bar Association’s Banking Law Section and Co-Chair of the RESPA and Housing Finance Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Consumer Financial Services Committee and the former editor-in-chief of Pratt’s Mortgage Compliance letter, a national publication on mortgage compliance issues.  Bob provides federal and state compliance and regulatory advice and assistance to banks, mortgage lenders and servicers, and other consumer financial services providers, and regularly assists Reed Smith litigators in defending financial institutions in individual and class actions.  He is a frequent speaker before financial institution groups (including MBA), has authored numerous articles on consumer financial services regulatory issues, and is a regular contributor on real estate finance topics for several LexisNexis publications.  Bob is also an educator, having developed and taught courses for mortgage professionals concerning New Jersey and federal mortgage lending and servicing laws and regulations.  In April, 2013, Bob was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Consumer Financial Services Lawyers.

    Amanda Daeges , Vice President, Senior Corporate Counsel , U.S. Bank Home Mortgage

    Amanda Daeges is Vice President and Senior Corporate Counsel for U.S. Bank. In her current role, Amanda supports U.S. Bank’s retail and wholesale mortgage divisions as mortgage origination attorney. She provides legal counsel related to the origination of mortgages through the Bank’s retail, correspondent, and broker channels by advising on regulatory matters, product development, loan documentation, credit underwriting, and dispute resolution. She also serves as Chair for the U.S. Bank Law Division Diversity and Inclusion Council.  Prior to her current position, Amanda served as a consumer regulatory attorney at U.S. Bank and as Associate Counsel at the Minnesota Bankers Association.

     

    John Haring , Director, Compliance Enablement , Ellie Mae, Inc.

    John Haring serves as the Director of Compliance Enablement for Ellie Mae® (NYSE: ELLI), a leading provider of enterprise level, on-demand automated solutions for the residential mortgage industry. He is responsible for facilitating the implementation and maintenance of residential mortgage lending compliance and industry changes across Ellie Mae’s various software applications, systems, and residential mortgage loan documents. Prior to joining Ellie Mae, he served as the vice president of compliance for Supreme Lending, and has spent the better part of the last decade supporting banks, lenders and brokers in keeping up with significant regulatory changes impacting the mortgage industry. In 2015 Haring was named one of HousingWire’s Rising Stars in recognition for his accomplishments in helping the industry prepare for implementing “Know Before You Owe”.
