    Melanie Brody is a partner in Mayer Brown’s Washington DC office and a member of the Consumer Financial Services group and the Financial Services Regulatory & Enforcement practice. She concentrates her practice on consumer finance enforcement, supervisory and compliance matters, primarily for banks, mortgage lenders, auto lenders, credit card issuers, student lenders and other financial service providers. She represents clients in investigations, examinations and enforcement actions by the US Department of Justice, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, Federal Reserve Board, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Department of Housing and Urban Development, Federal Trade Commission, state banking regulators and state attorneys general.  She also develops compliance programs, and performs compliance and regulatory due diligence reviews. Melanie is a frequent speaker at conferences on various consumer finance issues, including fair lending enforcement, litigation and compliance, and compliance with federal and state consumer finance requirements.     Andrew Glass is a partner at K&L Gates LLP. He advises businesses in achieving integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions to managing risk. Successful in managing and directing necessary processes required to resolve regulatory impediments and restoring CRA / compliance ratings for community and regional banks. Prior to joining Colonial Savings in Fort Worth, directed Compliance Lending Risk Management for Redding Bank of Commerce in Redding, California.  Currently responsible for managing HMDA / Fair Lending analysis and reporting, CRA program and front line business risk assessments; and maintaining regulatory compliance for Commercial and Mortgage business lines. Compliance SME and information resource for product development for small business lending and first-time home buying opportunities for minorities and low income individuals.
