    William Packer, Partner and Chief Operating Officer, American Financial Resources Inc

    Bill is a partner of American Financial Resources, (www.afrcorp.com), where he serves as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer responsible for Origination Operations (prior to closing), Technology, Project Management, New Product Development and Marketing. Bill also serves as the Executive Vice President for AFR’s Technology Services division (Lendersoft, www.lendersoft.com). He is currently the Chairperson for the MBA’s Residential Technology Committee and by virtue of this office serves on the MBA’s RSBOG as non-voting member. Bill is an advisory board member for Snapdocs a leading provider of digital mortgage closing solution. Prior to joining AFR, Bill held leadership positions at Bank of America most recently as the Senior Vice President, Application Programming Executive in Bank of America’s Home Loans technology organization where he supported both first mortgage and Home Equity business’. Bill is currently an advisory board member for Rutgers University’s customer experience program. Bill is the secretary and board member for his condo association. Amongst several other philanthropic endeavors, Bill is a lead diver, educator and mentor at the New York Aquarium’s volunteer scuba diving team (www.nyaquarium.com). Bill holds an MBA in Finance, a BA in Economics, has been a certified project manager (PMP) since 1998. He earned the GSEC designation from the SANS institute in 2002. Bill is a PADI Dive Master with DSD designation and is a DAN Instructor and is a certified PSI-PCI inspector.

    Tanya Brennan, Managing Partner, PhoenixTeam

    Tanya has 20 years of experience designing and implementing mortgage technology solutions. Her work history ranges from IBM, where she gained business process design expertise, to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) where she implemented all 243 VA loan servicers on the VA Loan Electronic Reporting Interface (VALERI). At Black Knight Financial Services (BKFS), formerly Lender Processing Services (LPS), Tanya managed multiple complex mortgage technology implementations and led commercial product and client teams.  In 2015, Tanya and her partners launched PhoenixTeam, a woman-owned small business that delivers mortgage technology solutions to improve the home loan experience for borrowers and helps financial institutions, technology providers, and government agencies achieve their desired outcomes. With a focus exclusively on the mortgage industry, PhoenixTeam delights clients and delivers better business solutions through technology implementation excellence

    Renee Galitis, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Caliber Home Loans, Inc.

    Renee Galitis is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Caliber Home Loans where she is responsible for all technology supporting Caliber’s aggressive growth plan and innovation in creating the “Ultimate Home Buying Experience”. As a seasoned industry leader with over 25 years of mortgage technology experience, Renee brings outstanding strategic and technical expertise that will help Caliber build upon their industry-leading enablement of Originations and Servicing.  Prior to Caliber, she was the CTO of Black Knight, Inc. (NYSE:BKI), a premier provider of integrated software, data, and analytics to the mortgage industry. Renee served as Head of Hosting and Operations Services at Black Knight Financial Services and was responsible for IT infrastructure, operations and controls, critical facilities management, enterprise technology standards, and new product development oversight. Before her promotion to Corporate CTO at Black Knight, Renee served four years as the CTO for Black Knight’s Origination Technologies division, which offers two loan origination systems, as well as technology solutions that support mortgage and home equity lending operations. Renee has also served in several senior management positions at both technology and mortgage firms including Bank of America and Nexstar Financial, a venture capital backed start-up specializing in software development.  Renee earned a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University.
