    J. Tony Thompson, III, CMB is Vice President of Growth & Strategy for Silverton Mortgage, the largest privately held lender in Georgia and one of the fastest growing mortgage lenders in the Southeast. Mr. Thompson is responsible for the strategy and sales growth of the company. Prior to joining Silverton Mortgage, he was the Southeast Regional Manager for Guaranteed Rate. While under his leadership, his region became one of the fastest growing regions within the company. Over the last 10 years in the industry, he has personally hired over 500 loan originators. Mr. Thompson is a member of the MBA Diversity Committee, MBA Loan Production Committee, Georgia Mortgage Bankers Association Board of Governor’s and a graduate of the MBA’s Future Leaders Program. Additionally, he is the Founder/CEO of the National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America (NAMMBA). He has a strong passion and commitment for building teams and mentoring young mortgage professionals.

    Desirée Patno is the CEO and President of Women in the Housing and Real Estate Ecosystem (NAWRB) and Desirée Patno Enterprises, Inc. (DPE). With almost three decades specializing in the Housing and Real Estate Ecosystem, she leads her executive team’s expertise of championing women’s economic growth and independence. Representing Fortune 100 companies in their relocation needs and selling thousands of properties across multiple platforms, she brings insider knowledge to NAWRB’s mission of advancing women and women-owned businesses. Desirée resides on the Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) Leadership Advisory Council and Enterprising Women Advisory Board. In 2017, she was named the Highest-Ranking Woman and 4th Overall Top Real Estate Influencer to Follow by Entrepreneur.com. Desiree is the Publisher of NAWRB Magazine—winner of the APEX Award for Publication Excellence in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018—and is a monthly contributor to RISMedia’s Real Estate Magazine, National Mortgage Professional Magazine, Inman and various industry publications.

    Lisa J. Haynes, CPA, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Mortgage Bankers Association

    Lisa J. Haynes is Chief Financial Officer and Diversity & Inclusion Officer for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). As the Chief Financial Officer, Haynes is responsible for collecting, maintaining and reporting accurate financial information on behalf of MBA as well as overseeing the Association's current financial structure. She also works to ensure future financial stability for MBA through efficient budgeting and economic forecasting.  With over 25 years of experience in the fields of finance and accounting, Haynes brings a wealth of knowledge to the CFO position. Prior to joining MBA, Haynes worked for Fannie Mae and served the company in several positions including Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, Vice President for Finance Transformation, and Vice President for Operational Accounting, where she led a team of 45 professionals responsible for the management of single and multifamily loans worth approximately $3 trillion.  Haynes has also been named as MBA's Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. In this role, she serves as an executive-level strategist partnering with the leaders of MBA's diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a comprehensive strategy that fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion within the real estate finance industry. In addition, working with Human Resources, develops and implements plans, programs, and activities that educate and engage employees on the value of diversity and the critical importance of inclusion.  Before her work at Fannie Mae, Haynes established and grew her own consulting practice in Massachusetts. Her practice specialized in financial consulting services for nonprofits and small businesses. Haynes was also the Senior Associate Controller and Director for John Hancock Financial Services, Inc. in Boston where she led the SEC and Management Reporting team during the company's demutualization in 2000.

    Dominica Groom, Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion, Freddie Mac

    As Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion at Freddie Mac, Dominica Groom leads the company’s efforts to attract and retain a diverse employee base which includes overseeing the company’s Employee Resource Groups as well as the corporate community engagement program. Additionally, she is responsible for Freddie Mac’s Supplier Diversity program to provide equal opportunity in our contracting practices.  Dominica has more than 15 years of proven experience leading diversity and inclusion programs as well as global marketing and communications initiatives most recently as Senior Director, Global Supplier Diversity and Sustainability (Global Operations) at Marriott International, the world's largest global lodging company. In this role, she led the company to elevated Supplier Diversity performance and global recognition. Prior to this position at Marriott, she also oversaw marketing, change management and communications for various company-wide initiatives. Prior to joining Marriott, Dominica worked in the nonprofit sector in a program management capacity.  She was named one of Black Enterprises’ “Top Executives in Corporate Diversity,” recognized as one of the “Top 100 Women” in the state of Maryland, by The Daily Record, and recognized as one of Maryland’s top "Leading Women," under the age of 40. She was also named a "Top Influential Leader in Diversity" by the National Association for Minority Companies for her commitment to diversity and inclusion.

    Miguel Narvaez, Chief Production Officer and Partner, Alterra Home Loans

    Miguel Narvaez is Chief Production Officer and Partner for Alterra Home Loans, responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, affinity programs, new business and driving the growth of Alterra in more than 32 states over the last eight years. In 2005, he founded Alianza Hispana, where he partnered with well-respected Realtors to educate the Hispanic community about real estate and mortgage through media, in both TV and radio shows in different cities across the U.S.
