She has been at Arbor for 13 years, serving as VP of Marketing and SVP before advancing to her current role.

    Michael Heagerty, Chief Financial Officer and Principal, Newmark Realty Capital

    Michael Heagerty is Chief Financial Officer and a Principal for Newmark Realty Capital. He is responsible for the financial performance, management, and loan divisions of the company. Michael has managed the expansion of Newmark's platform on the west coast including operational, recruiting, and technology initiatives that strive to improve the company’s loan production and servicing capabilities. Since forming Newmark's Loan Servicing Department in 1994, the department has grown to be one of the top commercial loan servicers in the country with a portfolio representing over $10 billion in loans.
    Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from San Francisco State University. He is a California licensed real estate salesperson and an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America (MBAA), California Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA) and CRE Finance Council (CREF-C) . He is former Chairperson of the Servicing Council and Vice Chairperson of the Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors (COMBOG) for the MBA.

    Eric Carter, Vice President, IT Director, NorthMarq Capital, LLC

    Eric Carter manages NorthMarq Capital’s IT department and provides strategic leadership for current and future technology at the company. His responsibilities include ensuring all processes and resources are in place to deliver consistent IT services on a daily basis, overseeing high-profile IT projects, and managing key vendor partnerships. Prior to joining NorthMarq, Eric worked at Welsh Companies, leading their IT department. He also spent five years at Evolution1, where he managed the production infrastructure/operations for a SaaS provider that helped individuals, employers and TPAs manage their FSA, HRA and HSA. He also has worked as a project manager at Target, a part-time real estate agent for five years, and spent 10 years with Accenture in various roles that focused on helping clients build and run their data centers.

    Lisa Peck, Vice President, Business Technology, PNC Real Estate

    Lisa J. Peck is the Vice President, Business Technology, based in Overland Park, Kansas. Lisa joined PNC Bank in 2001 and has been responsible for managing high profile client, M&A, and enterprise-wide technology projects. In her current role Lisa manages the relationship between technology and the PNC Real Estate business segment within Corporate and Institutional Banking. Lisa meets regularly with executives across PNC Real Estate to discuss technology needs, in-flight project status, and facilitates the annual technology budget and initiative planning process. Lisa manages a group of Business Systems Analysts who work with the business to document requirements for technology projects. Lisa has helped pioneer two organizations that promote professional women. She was a founding executive committee member that launched Women Connect at PNC, and is currently a founding executive committee member that is launching an off-shoot organization, TECH Connect, geared for women in technology. Throughout her career Lisa has been a champion for diversity and inclusion. She is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association’s Commercial/Multifamily Technology Officers Roundtable, the PMI, the Central Exchange, Women Connect and TECH Connect.

    Jeffrey T. Majewski, Director, Executive Management, CBRE

    Jeff Majewski is the director, executive markets of CBRE Capital Markets, which combines the firm’s Debt & Structured Finance platform with its Investment Properties sales platform. Jeff has extensive experience in the origination, structuring, placement, closing and servicing of commercial real estate debt for life insurance companies, pension funds, banks, Agencies and Wall Street sources.  Prior to returning to CBRE in 2012, Jeff was the executive managing director of Grubb & Ellis’ Capital Markets Group from 2010 - 2012.  During his 31 years of experience, Jeff has worked in every aspect of the commercial real estate finance business, from loan originations and servicing, asset management, and lender and client development, as well as the detailed day-to-day operations of running the business.  In addition, Jeff has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and the subsequent integration of the acquired operations.  Jeff began his commercial real estate career while at Arthur Andersen, serving as an independent auditor for commercial and single-family home developers located in Houston, Texas.

    Tim Elkins is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at PrimeLending.  Tim joined PrimeLending in November of 2008 as chief information officer and is responsible for information security, IT operations and technology initiatives.  Elkins has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry. Prior to joining PrimeLending, he served as chief information officer at AmericaHomeKey and BSM Financial.  Elkins is the chair of the Residential Technology Forum (RESTECH) for the Mortgage Bankers Association.     Brad Keller has been developing and leading risk management programs for more than 25 years. During this time Brad has developed and implemented vendor and business risk management programs at several financial institutions that have substantially improved risk management while also passing federal regulatory scrutiny. He has implemented leading edge programs for the identification and mitigation of identity theft and online fraud; testified on behalf of the financial services industry at Congressional hearings on customer privacy issues; and, is a frequent member of financial industry led initiatives that address issues related to risk management, anti-phishing, online fraud, customer privacy, and authentication issues.  Brad is the Sr. Director of 3rd Party Strategy at Prevalent, Inc. where he focuses on the delivery of Prevalent’s third party risk management and assessment solutions. That focus includes assisting clients with the evaluation and enhancement of their 3rd party risk programs as well as ways to fully leverage their investment in Prevalent 3rd party products and managed services.  Prior to joining Prevalent, he was a Senior Vice President with The Santa Fe Group focusing on the management of the Shared Assessments Program. At Shared Assessments he led the development of Shared Assessments tools, training, and the Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP) program. During his years in Banking, Brad was responsible for risk management, privacy, and regulatory compliance, including third party oversight. He was instrumental in the development and management of: business risk self-assessment and third party assessment programs; FFIEC-compliant authentication programs; and led key initiatives in anti-phishing and brand protection programs for the banks.  Brad also served as an online privacy and compliance officer where in addition to online risk, he was responsible for online privacy and compliance across the enterprise.     Most recently, Bill was Chief Executive Officer of Quicken Loans, a position he held for 15 years. Under his leadership, Quicken Loans became the second largest retail mortgage lender and has closed more than $400 billion of mortgage volume across all 50 states from 2013 through 2017.

    Bill joined Quicken Loans in 1993 as a Mortgage Banker. His passion and commitment for learning and growing, as well as his zeal for taking care of clients, helped him take on many roles at the company.

In this role, he is responsible for overseeing MBA's industry surveys, benchmarking studies, economic and mortgage originations forecasts, industry technology efforts, and policy development research for both single-family and commercial/multifamily markets. Additionally, Fratantoni is president and member of the Board of Directors of the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO). He also serves on the CSP's Industry Advisory Group.  Prior to joining MBA, Fratantoni worked in the industry in risk management and senior economist roles at Washington Mutual and Fannie Mae, and was responsible for assessing macroeconomic, regional, housing, and mortgage market trends, and providing technical expertise regarding credit pricing and mortgage policy issues.  Fratantoni received a Ph.D. in economics from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in economics from The College of William and Mary. He has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Washington, and Johns Hopkins, George Washington, and Georgetown Universities and has published papers on housing and mortgage topics in leading economics and real estate finance journals.

    Bill Emerson, 2016 MBA Chairman and Vice Chairman, Rock Holdings Inc.

    Bill Emerson is Vice Chairman of Rock Holdings Inc., the parent company of Quicken Loans, the nation’s largest mortgage lender, and several other FinTech businesses. He is responsible for leadership, growth and culture development across the entire Rock Holdings portfolio.

    Most recently, Bill was Chief Executive Officer of Quicken Loans, a position he held for 15 years. Under his leadership, Quicken Loans became the second largest retail mortgage lender and has closed more than $400 billion of mortgage volume across all 50 states from 2013 through 2017.

    Bill joined Quicken Loans in 1993 as a Mortgage Banker. His passion and commitment for learning and growing, as well as his zeal for taking care of clients, helped him take on many roles at the company.

    Dedicated to his community, Bill has been the recipient of the ALS Association’s Iron Horse Award and the Salvation Army’s prestigious William Booth Award, the nonprofit’s highest honor. He also supports the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Michigan Chapter.

    John Vong, CMB, CMT, President, ComplianceEase

    John Vong serves as president of ComplianceEase, the nation’s leading provider of risk management solutions to the financial services industry, which he co-founded in 2001.  After first entering the mortgage industry by founding a mortgage bank in San Francisco in 1986, he sold the bank to The Money Store and then First Union Bank in 1997 and 1998, respectively.     Leonard Ryan, Founder and President, QuestSoft Corporation

    Leonard Ryan is Founder and President of Laguna Hills, Calif.-based QuestSoft Corporation, a provider of automated compliance review software for the mortgage industry. Since the company’s founding in 1995, Ryan continues to oversee strategic planning and day-to-day operations for the company including, business and software development, interface partners, sales and pricing. Under Ryan’s leadership, QuestSoft was recently recognized as one of HousingWire’s 2017 HW TECH100 honorees, as well as a 2017 Innovation Award winner from the PROGRESS in Lending Association, and has been named a Top Workplace by The Orange County Register for the past several years.     Ben Wu, Executive Director, LoanScorecard

    Benjamin Wu is executive director of LoanScorecard, a leading provider of automated underwriting and compliance solutions.
