    John Schleck is the Centralized and Online Consumer Lending Executive for Bank of America in the Preferred & Small Business segment of Consumer Banking. John and his team are responsible for driving direct-to-consumer mortgage and home equity loan sales via phone, internet and video. In addition, his team supports financial centers that do not have on-site mortgage specialists across the United States. His team also serves U.S. Trust, Merrill Lynch and Employee Lending. Joining the bank in 2013, John brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the mortgage industry, including his previous position as the Western Retail Mortgage Production executive and the National Consumer Direct Division Executive for PNC Mortgage, a division of PNC Bank NA. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and Philosophy from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. He has served on a number of nonprofit boards and has been a youth soccer, ice hockey and lacrosse coach. He and his family reside in the Charlotte area of North Carolina.

    Alok Bansal, Vice President and Business Head, Wipro Gallagher Solutions

    As Vice President and Business Head at Wipro Gallagher Solutions, Alok Bansal drives business strategy across the entire organization including product development, delivery, quality assurance, design, and operations.  Alok joined Wipro Gallagher Solutions in 2014 as General Manager and Head of Delivery and Operations. In this role, he accelerated WGS' product and delivery strategy by improving efficiencies and execution excellence. Over the course of his career, Alok has held multiple leadership positions at leading global IT firms where he advanced product strategy, product management and professional services for a wide array of financial services institutions.

    Dino Lack is SVP of Mortgage Technology at loanDepot. Dino and his team are responsible for mortgage software design and development, enterprise applications and data architecture, and shared engineering services. Collectively these proprietary platforms form the mello digital lending ecosystem. Most recently he and his team developed and delivered the mellosmartloan. Pratt is the Vice President of Partner Relations and Government Affairs for Pavaso.  Nancy has over 15 years of experience in the eMortgage/eClosing space, which played a key role in leading the go-to-market and implementation strategies for Pavaso's two CFPB pilots.  Nancy has been in the mortgage/title industry for over 39 years and highlights of her career include industry milestones of performing the first complete eMortgage with lenders and conducting the first ever FHA and VA eClosings.  Nancy has been invited to speak at various Industry Conventions as an eClosing/eMortgage subject expert. She is a member of the ALTA Government Affairs, Public Relations, State Regulatory Action and Technology Committee, ALTA Remote online Notary Taskforce and has been an ALTA Springboard facilitator in 2017 and 2018. She is the Co-chair of the MBA MISMO eMortgage Group and was elected to the MISMO Board of Governance Technology Committee in 2017 and 2018. She is also member of MBA’s Residential Technology Committee. Nancy is also a member of PRIA, MBA, MISMO, ESRA, RESPRO, NASS/NPA and has served on the eMortgage FNMA Innovation Team.  Nancy was named as a Leading Lady in the Mortgage Industry by The MReport in 2015. In 2016, she was a recipient of the 2016 MBA Tech All Star Award and was named as an Elite Women in Mortgage by Mortgage Professional America and was named one of Housing Wire’s Women of Influence in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

    Ann Ploetz, Senior Product Manager, ICE/MERSCORP HOLDINGS, Inc.

    Ann Ploetz is Senior Product Manager for ICE/MERSCORP Holdings, Inc. She is part of the team responsible for product requirements and design for the full suite of MERS® Systems. Her current area of responsibility includes MERS® eRegistry and she is actively working on future enhancement releases for the application.  Prior to joining ICE, Ann served as the business lead for the MERS team at HP/EDS, the information technology partner of MERSCORP Holdings. In addition to software development, her contributions included day to day operational and project leadership related to the MERS® Systems.  Ann’s industry experience includes a 20 year career at Bank One, with management roles in the area of Retail Banking, Bank Operations (including loan origination and servicing) and Software Development.

    Rachael Sokolowski, President, Magnolia Technologies LLC

    Rachael Sokolowski, President, Magnolia Technologies LLC, is a recognized leader and author in the mortgage banking industry as a technology evangelist, trusted adviser, strategist and driver of results in industry initiatives. As a consultant, Rachael provides over 30 years of business and technical experience in electronic documents and signatures, industry standardization, electronic mortgages and closings, secondary market delivery requirements, compliance and patent applications/litigation. Rachael has provided subject matter expertise on financial services technologies and has advised mortgage banking lenders, technology vendors, GSEs, banks and insurance and automotive finance companies. Rachael was previously the Chief Information Officer for a community bank and a financial services consulting firm. Rachael is a major and frequent contributor to the mortgage banking industry standards organization (MISMO) and the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA). She has authored numerous articles for the Scotsman Guide, Mortgage Compliance Magazine and Mortgage Banking Magazine providing commentary on technology, compliance and policy issues facing the financial services industry.     Michael Cafferky, EMortgage Program Manager, Fannie Mae

    Mike Cafferky is Fannie Mae’s Product Manager for electronic mortgages (eMortgages). Mike has spent the last 15 of his 30 years at Fannie Mae developing and managing Fannie Mae’s eMortgage initiatives. Mike is widely recognized as an industry expert on the topic, is a frequent speaker on industry panels related to eMortgages and eClosings, and has provided educational sessions at industry conferences on eMortgage requirements and processes . Mike routinely works with Fannie Mae customers, technology vendors, document custodians, and warehouse funding providers to support their efforts to transition to electronic documents and closings.

    Rajasekhar Penugonda, Product Development and Senior Business Lead, Freddie Mac

    Raj Penugonda is the e-mortgage program lead at Freddie Mac, and is responsible for managing and improving competitiveness of the program. In addition to identifying and managing internal strategic initiatives, he works closely with various industry stakeholders to increase e-mortgage adoption. Raj has experience of 17 years in the residential mortgage industry spanning origination, default servicing and secondary market. Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Raj performed product management, change management and process design roles at Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Raj holds a master’s degree in engineering and is an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP).

    Christian Claffy, Senior Vice President, Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago

    Christian Claffy currently oversees operations for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s balance sheet and credit products. Mr. Claffy joined the Bank in 2010 and his held positions with increasing levels of responsibility including oversight of Collateral Operations, Investment Operations and Collateral Policy. Prior to joining the Bank, Christian worked in multiple positions within the mortgage industry starting in 2002 reviewing mortgage loans for secondary market transactions through Product Management for Loan Custody and Loan Disbursements products.

    Tim Nguyen is the CEO & Co-Founder at BeSmartee, a digital mortgage platform empowering mortgage lenders to take their consumers from application to a paid appraisal in minutes. As CEO Tim sets the direction of the company, defines its culture, owns the product vision and leads the overall execution of the company.  Previously, Tim co-founded and led InHouse, a nationwide provider of lender services and technology, from startup to 150+ FTEs before exiting in 2014. InHouse operates today under The Nationwide Group.  Tim comes from an entrepreneurial family background, having taught himself to code and launching multiple websites in high school.     With over 15 years in the mortgage industry at both privately held and Fortune 100 companies, Rocky enjoys a strong industry reputation as a strategic thinker and bold innovator who is highly skilled at leading rapid growth agendas, attracting and retaining top talent, and creating a white-glove, customer centric sales and service cultures.  Rocky joined Flagstar Bank as Head of Direct Lending in January of 2018. For the past 3 years, Rocky has led the Direct and Digital Mortgage channel for Capital One Home Loans. Under his leadership, the business achieved record volumes and profitability, developed multiple proprietary consumer technologies, all while delivering industry leading customer satisfaction and associate engagement scores.  Prior to Capital One, Rocky led Business Development for Mortgage Banking at JPMorganChase.     Pranav Kiran Parekh (“PK”) is a Senior Vice President with Discover Bank and the head of Discover Home Equity Loans. In this role, he leads all mortgage business functions, including strategy, product design, pricing, marketing, analytics, operations, and technology.  PK was previously Vice President and Head of Marketing for Discover Home Loans from 2013 to 2015 and drove increases in purchase and refinance market share. Prior to that, he launched Discover Student Loans in 2007 and grew it to be the third largest originator of private student loans in the US in 2013. He also held roles in operations strategy for Discover Card from 2003 to 2007.  Prior to Discover, PK was a management consultant for clients in financial services, business process outsourcing, telecommunications, and other industries. Most of his consulting work related to turnaround strategy, profit improvement, and operational efficiency.

    Boasting more than 16 years of industry experience, Harry Gardner held a variety of leadership positions with some of the industry’s most well known organizations prior to joining Docutech. Today, he serves as Docutech’s executive vice president of e-strategies, assisting in the development of the company’s corporate and product strategy to proactively align with the digital transformation needs of the lending industry.  Outside of Docutech, Gardner has served as vice president of industry technology for the Mortgage Bankers Association and has held various leadership roles at MISMO, including chair of its residential governance committee and a member of its board of directors.

    Jim Krugh is a VP of Compliance for PrimeLending. In his role, Jim is responsible for managing the relationship with Docutech as well as Simplifile for all eClosings.
