MBA Education's Residential Future Leaders Program is an executive leadership development program that delivers a comprehensive curriculum for selected managers who have shown leadership interests and abilities. Participants enhance their skills through three hands-on sessions geared toward political activism; business analysis and problem solving; and experiential learning through collaboration, networking and peer group interaction.

The program has evolved as a highly recognized program that enhances executive skills and provides an opportunity for participants to develop relationships that last an entire career. We use cutting-edge tools, programs and resources to enhance and personalize your leadership journey. Between the valuable in-person events, MBA supports participants throughout the year via mentoring, webinars and conference call touch-points, making this a truly comprehensive development experience.

Program Highlights

April 1-3, 2019 in Washington, D.C. | 
Leadership Development and the Federal Legislative Process 
Held in conjunction with MBA's National Advocacy Conference, participants will receive an introduction to lobbying and an understanding of its importance to the legislative proccess. 

June 18-21, 2019 in Gettysburg, PA and Washington, D.C. | 
Leadership Practices and Business Acumen
One day will be dedicated to the innovative Lincoln Leadership Institute at Gettysburg, focusing on leadership in a stressful and changing environment. Conducted at the site of the Gettysburg battlefield itself, the Institute offers a dramatic and inspiring look at how the lessons of history can guide leaders today. All participants will also work with an expert consultant to their perfect presentation skills.

October 27, 2019 in Austin, TX | 
Project Presentation and Graduation Ceremony 
Held in conjunction with MBA's Annual Convention & Expo, you will present your project before a senior executive audience.

Six total one-on-one coaching sessions with Bronwyn Morrissey, CEO and Founder, Insight Global Coaching

MBA's Path to Diversity Scholarship allows recipients to receive up to $2,000 in education funds and can be used towards the Residential Future Leaders Program. Eligible candidates must be part of one of the following under-represented groups: female; non-white or bi-racial; lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. Learn more and apply.

Program Details

Tuition includes registration for MBA's National Advocacy Conference, MBA's Annual Convention & Expo, the Leadership Practices Inventory 360 tool and the Lincoln Leadership Institute. The combined cost of these components well exceeds the tuition, and the rich content and unique networking experience makes this program a remarkable value. Here are some deadlines to keep in mind:

  • Tuition: $3,850/person (Participants are responsible for their own travel and lodging expenses)
  • Optional Executive Coaching Program: $3,500 with Future Leaders application; $3,650 after application deadline
  • Application Deadline: January 14, 2019
