Brian Hanson joined CWCapital in February 2006. His responsibilities are focused on maximizing strategic relationships with clients and business partners of the firm and its affiliates RealINSIGHT and RealINSIGHT Marketplace as well as industry constituents. From 1996 to 2006, Mr. Hanson managed the primary and special servicing and asset management functions for CRIIMI MAE’s $19 billion commercial mortgage portfolio. Prior to CRIIMI MAE, Mr. Hanson served as Chief Operating Officer and Portfolio Director for JCF Partners in Lanham, MD, overseeing their $1 billion real estate portfolio. Prior to joining JCF in 1991, Mr. Hanson was Vice President of secondary marketing and syndications for a financial institution and its wholly-owned mortgage banking subsidiary.

Joe DeRoy, Jr. is Senior Vice President and CMBS Program Leader at KeyBank Real Estate Capital. He is responsible for the implementation and execution of KeyBank's CMBS strategy, including loan screening, structuring, pricing, underwriting and securitization. In addition, Joe is responsible for the coordination of loan contributions with CMBS issuers, relationship management with subordinate bond buyers and rating agencies and marketing of bonds through investor roadshows. Prior to joining Key, Joe was a director at Fitch Ratings in Chicago and an associate within E&Y's structured finance team in New York City. Joe earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and marketing from the Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University, graduating magna cum laude.
Mr. Harrison is the Chief Operating Officer at Midland Loan Services, a PNC Real Estate business. As the COO, David’s focus is ensuring that Midland has the best team members, technology, and operational procedures, in support of the company’s goal of always providing a best-in-class experience for its customers. David’s background in commercial real estate includes capital markets, asset management, underwriting, workouts, business development and client relations. David is currently a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council’s Board of Governors, and Executive Committee. His prior roles in the industry include positions at Fitch Ratings, Key Bank and the Archon Group. Mr. Harrison received a BS in Political Science and a Minor in Economics from the University of Houston in 1997.
Frankie Jones is a Vice President and Managing Director in the Mortgage & Real Estate Department for Lincoln Financial Group. In his role, Jones oversees mortgage closing, servicing, and asset management for Lincoln’s commercial mortgage loan portfolio. He is also responsible for manager selection, due diligence, and portfolio construction for Lincoln’s real estate private equity funds portfolio. He currently serves as a vice chair of the MBA Servicer Council and co-chair of the MBA Life Co. Executive Servicers Roundtable. Prior to joining Lincoln Financial in his current capacity, Jones was a partner at Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP where he primarily focused his law practice on commercial real estate, land use and corporate law. He is a graduate of Davidson College and UVA School of Law.
As District Capital’s Managing Director, Crystal wears many different hats. She uses her extensive experience and knowledge of the mortgage banking process to create a bridge between lenders and borrowers. She does this by shepherding loans from application process all the way through to servicing for the life of the loan. Obsessed with making the loan servicing process more manageable for both lenders and borrowers alike, she is focused on creating a roadmap to help borrowers navigate post-closing loan issues. Crystal feels spending time acting as a guide and mentor to emerging leaders in the Commercial Real Estate industry is important work. In 2022 she was awarded a Globe Street Woman of Influence award. Throughout her career she has been very active with the MBA. She has also served as Chair of the Servicer Council Board and has led numerous committees with the MBA. She played an integral part of creating the Certified Commercial Mortgage Servicing designation. She currently serves on COMBOG with the MBA.
