WASHINGTON, D.C.--The Mortgage Bankers Association's Annual Convention & Expo continues today, Oct. 16, with a full slate of sessions and activities.

The Fifth General Session (8:30-9:45 p.m. ET) features Earvin "Magic" Johnson, NBA Hall of Famer, entrepreneur and philanthropist, interviewed by MBA Chairman Chris George, who will discuss business strategies and life lessons both on and off the court.

The Sixth General Session (10:15-11:30 a.m. ET), Fintech and the Future of Mortgage Lending, features MBA 2016 Chairman Bill Emerson, Vice Chairman of Quicken Loans Inc. and Rock Holdings Inc.; and Anthony Hsieh, Founder and CEO of LLC. MBA Vice Chair Susan Stewart moderates.

In the Seventh General Session, Market Outlook for 2019 (11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), MBA Chief Economist Mike Fratantoni and MBA Vice President of Industry Analysis Marina Walsh provide analysis of current economic, housing and mortgage market trends, as well as business profitability and other business metrics.

Academy Award-winning actress Geena Davis keynotes the mPower Luncheon at 1:00 p.m. ET to discuss her work in reducing gender stereotyping in the media.

Concurrent Sessions (1:30-2:30 p.m. ET):
--The Evolving Regulatory Landscape;
--Managing through Change; and
--Digital Mortgage at a Tipping Point.

Concurrent Sessions (3:00-4:00 p.m. ET):
--Innovation and Regulation;
--Is the Real Estate Brokerage Business Ripe for Disruption and What Does it Mean for Lenders?; and
--Technology that Redefines Business.

Again this year, The HUB Expo features nearly 200 exhibitors and sponsors, along with a daily slate of activities:
