MISMO Seeks Comments on Data Governance and Management Program Implementation Resource Package

WASHINGTON, D.C. (April 11, 2023) - MISMO®, the real estate finance industry's standards organization, announced that it is seeking public comment on the Data Governance and Management Program Implementation Resource Package, which includes a series of templates, guides, and educational resources that can be used to establish a data governance and management program within an organization. The 60-day comment period runs through June 12, 2023.
The goal of these resources is to help companies across the mortgage finance industry develop best practices for implementing and operationalizing Data Governance and Management in their own organizations.
The resources are part of MISMO’s Data Governance and Management Community of Practice’s work to develop guides and templates to help organizations customize and implement their own data governance and management program.
This package contains the remaining resources to complete the program offerings:

- Data Management Communications Plan Template
- Roadmap Template
- Metrics Template
- Comparison on Maturity Models
MISMO’s comment period allows those who participated in the proposal at least 60 days’ notice prior to final release to review and disclose any applicable Patent Rights (as defined by MISMO’s 2018 Intellectual Property Rights Policy).
MISMO requests that any organization that may have any patent or patent applications, or other intellectual property rights that might be infringed upon by an organization that uses or is compliant with these proposed MISMO products, to disclose them at this time in writing. All comments and disclosures are due by June 12, 2023, and should be directed to [email protected].
