Mortgage Capital Trading Adds Krause to Sales Team
Mortgage Capital Trading Inc., San Diego, announced Cara Krause joined the company as regional sales director. She will handle business development efforts and client management for new lender clients in the Northeast region of the country.
Krause has more than 25 years of experience working in the mortgage banking industry. She comes to MCT from Impac Mortgage and also served as vice president and regional account manager at Envoy Mortgage. She also worked in a senior sales capacity for First Horizon Home Loans; Fleet Bank Boston/Washington Mutual; Carteret Savings Bank; and several other lenders and banks.
SWBC Hires Kelly as AML Compliance Manager
SWBC, San Antonio, hired Stacie Kelly as Anti-Money Laundering compliance manager for the company's financial institutions division, responsible for implementing internal controls for payments services, working with clients to address any unusual activity and developing an AML program to support upcoming SWBC payments initiatives.
Prior to joining SWBC, Kelly worked as a compliance consultant for various companies, determining risk, making recommendations and preparing for audits. In addition, Stacie served as AML compliance officer for a San Antonio, Texas-based financial institution.
LRES Names Johnson Chief Strategy Officer
LRES, Orange County, Calif., announced Mark Johnson as its chief strategy officer, responsible for creating and implementing strategic priorities and maintain core company initiatives, services and partnerships.
Johnson has more than 20 years of executive experience. Prior to LRES, he served as division president of Nationstar Mortgage Holdings. Previously he served as division president and chief operating officer of Lender Processing Services.
Simplifile Hires Carroll as National Settlement Account Manager
Simplifile, Provo, Utah, hired Toni Carroll as national settlement account manager, responsible for maintaining and improving the company's settlement software vendor relationships while supporting the sales effort.
Carroll has more than 30 years of experience. Prior to joining Simplifile, she was business development manager for First American Professional Real Estate Services. Her other positions included state agency manager for the southeast and mid-Atlantic divisions of North American Title Insurance Co. and vice president of sales for TSS Software Corp.
Embrace Home Loans Launches Digital Marketing Division
Embrace Home Loans, Middleton, R.I., launched a new digital marketing division. Based in New York, the new division is designed to build data-driven digital marketing capabilities to support the full mortgage sales cycle from awareness, lead generation, nurture, close and advocacy.
As a part of this new initiative, Embrace named three employees to senior positions: Linda Benowitz as digital marketing director, Tony Branda as chief data and analytics officer and Jorgen Persson as manager of digital demand generation
Benowitz served most recently at Citibank, where she built a global digital insights team. She has been in the digital space for more than ten years and has experience in database marketing, credit and risk management and marketing planning. Previously, she held positions with Cablevision and JPMorgan Chase in similar capacities.
Branda brings nearly 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Previously, he served in executive positions with Citibank, Advance Publications Inc., RBS National Bank, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. He will develop a new enterprise data and analytics strategy and infrastructure and create a digital nervous system to communicate digitally with customers and prospects, as well as provide marketing automation to drive more customer outreach and increase acquisitions all based on Big Data Analytics.
Persson will manage SEO and paid media. He previously held positions with Nordics and Vistaprint, served as co-founder of JAG Media Group and as director of marketing with Testive Inc.
Alterra Home Loans Gerry Fernandez as Vice President of Sales
Alterra Home Loans, Las Vegas, announced Gerry Fernandez joined the company as Vice President of Sales. He will head up a national sales team in 26 states.
Fernandez was previously a Division Manager for New Penn Financial. Prior to that he was Vice President of Retail Lending for Pacific Union Financial and Vice President of Multicultural Lending for New American Funding.
LenderLive Adds Tiberio, Schultz to Settlement Services Division
LenderLive, Denver, announced David Tiberio and George Schultz joined the company as Vice Presidents of National Sales for the company's LenderLive Settlement Services line of business. They will be responsible for developing new client relationships and supporting existing ones for the business line.
Schultz brings more than two decades of mortgage industry experience to LenderLive. Prior to joining the company, he was vice president of Business Development and Client Management for Kensington Vanguard National Land Title. Previously, he spent 20 years with Title Resource Group with roles in sales, vendor management and client management, and most recently, as Vice President of National Operations.
Tiberio has more than 25 years' experience in the financial services, mortgage and real estate industries. He has held a series of senior positions with large national mortgage companies and title agencies, including First American Title Insurance Co. and Bank of America.
Roostify Names Gelbart Chief Revenue Officer
Roostify, San Francisco, named Frank Gelbart as Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for driving new and existing revenue streams as well as managing partner relationships.
Gelbart brings more than 20 years of experience in enterprise software, including several early-stage, venture-backed software companies. Prior to Roostify, he served as president/CEO and Co-Founder of Appfluent Technology. Prior, he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales with Peakstone Corp. He also held senior management positions with Entevo Corp., Cheyenne Software and Equinox Corp.
Assurant Names Rowell Managing Director of Field Services
Assurant Inc., Austin, Texas, named Jerry Rowell as managing director of Assurant Field Services, under the company's Mortgage Solutions group. He will have responsibility for operations and strategy for Assurant Field Services.
Rowell brings more than 20 years of experience. Most recently he led J. Rowell & Associates in providing management consulting to service-based companies. Previously, he was managing director of Lender Processing Services' Field Services Division, responsible for leading and developing operations, the management team, technology and other aspects of the business.
Primary Residential Mortgage Taps Quinones for Maryland Office
Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. Salt Lake City, Utah, opened a branch in Severna Park, Md. Under management of Kyndle Quinones, joined by Carolyn Rose, Loan Officer Assistant, and Sara Tinker, Paralegal.
Quinones comes to PRMI with 16 years in the industry. Before joining PRMI, she was a Senior Loan Officer with First Home Mortgage for 15 ½ years.
Academy Mortgage Hires Valencia as Regional Manager
Academy Mortgage, Des Moines, Iowa, hired Jorge Valencia as Regional Manager for the Upper Midwest, responsible for directing sales, recruiting, personnel management, market expansion, and business development.
Valencia's 30 years of professional experience includes senior roles with Cornerstone Mortgage, Wells Fargo, Bank of the West and U.S. Bank. He co-founded the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation and served as its president for five years.
Lenders One Hires Orlando as VP of National Programs
The Lenders One Cooperative, Luxembourg, hired Matthew Orlando as Vice President of National Programs.
Orlando brings more than 10 years of experience, including various leadership roles with Equifax.
Draper And Kramer Mortgage Hires Chappel As VP of Lending
Draper and Kramer Mortgage Corp. hired Leslie Chappel as vice president of residential lending.
Prior to joining DKMC, Chappel served as an originator for three other lenders in Louisville.
