ARMCO Promotes COO McCall to President
ACES Risk Management, Pompano Beach, Fla., promoted Phil McCall from chief operating officer to president. He will oversee all operations for the company, including expansion of the company's ACES Audit Technology platform.
McCall has been in the mortgage industry for more than 25 years and has held numerous executive positions with both mortgage lenders and mortgage technology providers. In the past year, he received two top industry awards: the MBA Insights Tech All-Star Award and HousingWire's Vanguard Award. He is a key contributor to several mortgage quality and auditing technologies, is a member of MBA's Fraud Issues Committee and has been sought out as a mortgage fraud subject matter expert by multiple law enforcement agencies.
TRK Connection Promotes Abbey to Chief Technology Officer
TRK Connection, Salt Lake City, Utah, promoted former Senior Systems Architect Randy Abbey to Chief Technology Officer, responsible for managing architecture, design, development and on-going support and maintenance of all TRK technology.
Abbey has held positions as a test engineer, software developer, engineering lead, product manager, systems architect and multiple roles as a technology executive in a variety of industries. In 2009, Abbey founded and is currently president of RA3 Software, a provider of proprietary SaaS applications serving the supply chain, inventory management and fleet maintenance industries. As Senior Systems Architect at TRK, Abbey was responsible for leading the development efforts on Insight RDM.
PRMI Hires Marrow to Newport News Office
Primary Residential Mortgage Inc. hired Lori Marrow to its newest brick-and-mortar office in Newport News.
Marrow comes to PRMI with 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry and will be responsible for the overall management of the branch, recruitment and assisting individuals with their home loan needs. Previously, she was a Mortgage Loan Consultant with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.
The Mortgage Collaborative Appoints Prieston Chair of Capital Markets Committee
The Mortgage Collaborative, San Diego, appointed Arthur Prieston, CMB, chair of its newly formed Capital Markets Committee. In this role, he will lead capital market engagements for the group's lender members.
Prieston is Chairman of The Prieston Group, which includes TPG subsidiary PBIS and affiliate American Mortgage Law Group. Spanning three decades, his career includes consulting-relevant experience in mortgage banking, legal and insurance fields, mergers and acquisitions including: conducting structured quantitative and qualitative analysis, program definition and management and developing operational and growth strategy.
LenderLive Appoints Clements Chairman & CEO; Surface President & COO
LenderLive Holdings Inc., Denver, appointed Rob Clements as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and John Surface as President and Chief
Operating Officer of the company, effective immediately.
Clements and Mr. Surface will also join the company's Board of Directors. LenderLive Founder and CEO Rick Seehausen will move into the role of Vice Chairman and Founder.
Clements and Surface come to LenderLive after more than two decades at EverBank Financial Corp. During their tenures at EverBank, they led the transformation of the bank from a monoline mortgage company with less than $200 million in assets into a nationwide, $28 billion, diversified financial services company with deep roots in the mortgage market.
Clements joined EverBank in 1994 and served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer since 1997. Surface joined EverBank Financial Corp in 1994 and served as Senior Executive Vice President with responsibility for corporate strategy, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions and new growth initiatives.
Seehausen will remain with the company and work with Clements and Surface and the management team to facilitate the transition process.
DIMONT Hires Bava, Di Staulo; Promotes Kline, Lehner
DIMONT, Dallas, hired Holly Baya and Anthony Di Staulo and promoted Dwight Kline to client development directors and promoted Mark Lehner to assistant vice president of client development.
Bava, Di Staulo and Kline oversee and manage relationships between DIMONT and its clients, including account growth and assisting with sales and service problem resolutions. Bava and Di Staulo have 10 years of experience; Kline has 15 years. Lehner has more than 15 years of industry experience and is responsible for managing the team of client development directors as well as overseeing the overall strategy of the division.
CFPB Appoints Arvielo to Consumer Advisory Board
New American Funding, Tustin, Calif., announced its Co-Founder and President, Patty Arvielo, has been named to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's Consumer Advisory Board for a three-year term beginning this November.
The Consumer Advisory Board consists of consumer experts outside of the federal government who ensure the CFPB hears from a wide range of perspectives related to the consumer financial marketplace. Arvielo will advise CFPB's leadership on a broad range of consumer financial issues and emerging market trends.
Arvielo brings 35 years of mortgage experience to the board, which includes managing operations and sales for New American Funding's headquarters, more than 130 branches and more than 2,300 employees. She has developed various consumer-based initiatives including Latino Focus Committee and New American Dream, programs designed to address the housing challenges facing Latino and African-American communities. She also serves as a national housing advocate through committees for the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Corporate Board of Governors for the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals.
LRES Names Haro as VP Corporate Administration
LRES, Orange, Calif., announced Jill Haro as its vice president of corporate administration. She will oversee compliance and corporate-wide strategic projects.
Haro has more than 15 years of experience working within the mortgage services industry in operations, client relations and corporate project management. Prior to LRES, she served as a solution delivery executive for RealEC Technologies. Prior to that, she held senior operational roles with Xome Settlement Services and Lender Processing Services.
Home Point Financial Names Patton Executive Managing Director/Chief Strategy Officer
Home Point Financial Corp., Ann Arbor, Mich., named Chad Patton Executive Managing Director/Chief Strategy Officer. In this role, he will focus on funding and capital planning, business intelligence and strategic initiatives.
Patton has more than 20 years of experience in the mortgage and financial industry. Prior to joining Home Point, he served as Executive Vice President with Nationstar Mortgage, overseeing production, capital markets and business development activities. Previously, he was Managing Director with Lone Star Funds, where he oversaw financial services private equity.
