Lisa Haynes, Chief Financial and Diversity and Inclusion Officer of the Mortgage Bankers Association, was presented with a 2019 Diversity & Inclusion Award by the Council for Inclusion in Financial Services, at the CIFS Annual National FinServ Expo in Irving, Texas.

The CIFS Diversity & Inclusion Awards recognizes individuals and organizations who promote inclusion through education, technology, advocacy, industry outreach and philanthropy. Haynes was honored for her leadership and tireless efforts on diversity and inclusion, both at MBA and across the housing finance industry.

"Under Lisa's leadership, MBA has made strides to ensure our industry's workforce reflects and understands the increasingly diverse consumers we serve in communities across America," said Marcia Davies, MBA Chief Operating Officer and founder of mPower. With Haynes at the forefront, MBA has started several alliance agreements, strategic partnerships and outreach efforts to promote an inclusive environment for mortgage industry professionals. This includes a partnership with the National Association of Minority Mortgage Bankers of America, allowing for collaboration on industry conferences and meetings, with a focus on professional development scholarship opportunities, and strong recruitment efforts.

KarenHerrKaren Herr Joins Valuation Partners as Vice President
Valuation Partners, Toledo, Ohio, hired Karen Herr as vice president of its U.S. West region, responsible for overseeing business development and new client services in California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Hawaii and Alaska.

Herr has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry and has held executive roles at several large mortgage companies. Most recently, she served as a regional sales manager with PennyMac Loan Services, where she grew and managed client relationships for the company's correspondent channel in five western states. Her prior roles include serving as senior vice president with Mortgage Capital Management, correspondent sales director with Stonegate Mortgage Corp. and a vice president with JP Morgan Chase's wholesale and correspondent divisions. She began her career as a vice president and underwriting manager with Merrill Lynch Mortgage Capital.

Jerry Lam Joins Greystone as Chief of Credit for Freddie Mac Small Balance Loans Platform
Greystone, New York, named Jerry Lam Chief of Credit for its Freddie Mac Small Balance Loans platform.

JerryLamLam joins Greystone from Freddie Mac, where he most recently served as Director of Credit for its SBL platform and a senior member of the credit team. Prior to his tenure at Freddie Mac, he held a variety of production and underwriting roles with Barings Capital, Capital One Bank (formerly Beech Street Capital), PNC Bank and Highridge Costa Housing Partners.

Gateway First Bank Appoints Natalia Coen as Chief Compliance Officer
Gateway First Bank, Jenks, Okla., hired Natalia Coen as its Chief Compliance Officer, responsible for planning, developing and managing execution of a compliance management system and any related initiatives. She will also advise senior management, the board of directors and any necessary committees of new laws and regulatory concerns and serve as a member of the risk and compliance committee and oversee the compliance management processes for Gateway.

NataliaCoenPrior to joining Gateway, Coen was Senior Vice President and Director of Compliance with CoBiz Financial, a financial services holding company in Denver, Colo., where she directed compliance, customer complaint, third-party contract and fair lending management programs among others. She is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and has a certificate in Operational Risk Management from the American Bankers Association.

CrediVia Adds Michael J. Richardson to Executive Management Team
CrediVia, Raleigh, N.C., hired Michael J. Richardson as chief commercial officer, responsible for leading the maturation strategy of CrediVia's platform.

Richardson comes to CrediVia after more than 15 years with Reis, where he worked directly with all major lenders in the U.S. commercial real estate market. Under his sales leadership, revenues at Reis grew tenfold, leading to a terminal valuation of $278 million upon acquisition by Moody's Corp. in October 2018.

MichaelBlairLoanCare Appoints Michael Blair as Chief Administrative Officer
LoanCare, Virginia Beach, Va., appointed Michael Blair as Chief Administrative Officer.

Blair most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Cenlar and brings more than 30 years' experience in the mortgage industry with a focus on servicing, default and loss mitigation. He also brings technology leadership to ServiceLink's LoanCare division, having been responsible for the strategic direction of subservicing technology platforms at other firms.

PaulVancheriPaul Vancheri Joins LoanLogics as EVP of Technology
LoanLogics, Trevose, Pa., appointed Paul J. Vancheri executive vice president of technology. He will be responsible for the company's delivery of software to the mortgage industry.

Vancheri has more than 35 years of industry experience. Most recently he served as Vice President of Research and Consulting with Novarica, a Boston-based management consulting firm. Before that, he was group head of global shared services and global delivery with Finastra (formerly D+H), where he was responsible for all IT functions and several offshore business operations. He also spent more than 10 years with Fidelity Investments, serving in various chief information officer positions, where he set the company's strategic technology direction, built its global organization and delivered its software development portfolio. Prior to Fidelity, he served in the U.S. Air Force as a systems development and acquisition officer and retired as Lieutenant Colonel.

DIMONT Announces Numerous Promotions
DIMONT, Dallas, announced promotions of employees in customer-facing, new business and operations leadership positions as a part of the company's growth plan for its mortgage-related services businesses. These promotions include:

--Michelle Trotter (Dallas) to director of Loss Drafts Services, focusing on enhancing the company's loss drafts services.

Priscilla Rivera (Dallas), to director of Client Support Services of Hazard Claims, where she will continue to serve the company's customers and provide customer service experience and services.

--Cheryl Johnson (San Diego) to director of Retail Insurance Claims Services. She moves to this position as a licensed nationwide Public Insurance Adjuster with more than 25 years of industry experience and an extensive track record in employee management and insurance claims resolutions.

--Christine Myck (Dallas) to enhance operations as the director of Lender-Placed Insurance Claims Services, with an experienced operations background in the financial services industry.

--Mark Siratt (Dallas) to streamline company's insurance claims review process as director of Hazard Insurance Claims Review Team. He moves to this position with more than 20 years of experience in planning, organizing, directing and evaluating high-volume operation processes.

--Rachel Osorio (San Diego) to manager of Retail Insurance Claims Services, centering on DIMONT's expertise in collateral valuation and insurance recoveries.

--Waleska Urrutia (Dallas) to provide claims knowledge and enhanced operations as manager of Lender-Placed Insurance Claims Services; she has more than seven years with DIMONT.

--Sally Geisler (Dallas) to provide service in office operations as manager of Hazard Insurance Claims Support Team. She has worked with DIMONT for more than four years and brings more than 20 years of operations and customer relations experience.
