KristyFerchoMBA Nominates Kristy Fercho as MBA 2020 Vice Chair
The Mortgage Bankers Association nominated Kristy Fercho, Executive Vice President and President of Mortgage with Flagstar Bank, Troy, Mich., to serve as MBA Vice Chairman for the 2020 membership year.

Fercho is expected to be installed at the association's 106th Annual Convention & Expo this October in Austin, Texas.

"Kristy is an active MBA member and industry leader who will serve MBA and its members exceptionally well," said MBA Chairman Christopher M. George, President and CEO of CMG Financial, San Ramon, Claif. "She is results-driven and brings a unique perspective, vision, and leadership skill set. I'm excited to have her on our leadership ladder."

Fercho currently serves as a member of MBA's Board of Directors and sits on the MBA Audit Committee. She is also on the board of the Detroit Zoological Society and CityYear, and is a past president of the board of Habitat for Humanity, Chicago. MReport recognized her as one of its Top Women in Housing, and Diversity Journal listed her among its Women Worth Watching.

Fercho joined Flagstar Bank in 2017 after 15 years with Fannie Mae, where she served as Senior Vice President and Customer Delivery Executive, responsible for the strategy and business performance of all single-family customers in the western United States. Prior to Fannie Mae, she worked for PepsiCo and Baxter Healthcare.

Fercho has a bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Business Administration from the Erivan K. Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia.

RobertShumakeCalyx Names Robert Shumake National Sales Consultant
Calyx, Dallas, hired Robert Shumake as National Sales Consultant, responsible for developing sales strategies and managing customer relationships for, the company's digital loan origination system.

Shumake brings nearly 20 years of sales experience in the banking, mortgage banking and financial technology industries to Calyx. Most recently, he was Account Executive of Digital Mortgage at eOriginal. Prior, he was Vice President of National Sales with ClosingCorp. He also held sales positions with First Mortgage Corp., Home Savings of America and Washington Mutual. He began his career as a Commercial Bank Officer with California Bank & Trust.

TroyAllenLenderClose Adds Three
LenderClose, Des Moines, Iowa, added sales representatives Troy Allen and Kathy Bell, and software developer Caleb Salt.

Allen is former regional manager of Community 1st Credit Union in Indianola, Iowa. He has more than 17 years of experience. Bell brings extensive KathyBellexperience in sales and business development to the LenderClose team, having most recently worked as a client executive with ACS and a senior sales executive with Dice Holdings. Salt is a developer with experience designing, coding and deploying software systems for more than 400 companies. In his most recent role as a software programmer analyst for IMT Computer Services, he worked in a fully test-driven development agile programming environment.

FinLocker Positions Appoints Brian Vieaux as President
FinLocker, St. Louis, appointed Brian Vieaux as President where he will help expand business development and sales efforts for the company's platforms.

BrianVieauxVieaux brings more than two decades of experience with bank-owned lending institutions. Prior to FinLocker, he held executive leadership roles with CitiGroup, IndyMac Bank, Aurora Bank, and most recently the acclaimed Flagstar Bank.
