Summary:

School of Mortgage Banking (SOMB) III is the final course in MBA Education's School of Mortgage Banking series, emphasizing long-term strategic planning in mortgage-banking. Through an interactive, team-based experience, your company will use a computerized model to manage through several economic quarters and varying economic conditions to restore and grow profitability to your firm.

SOMB III pulls together everything you have learned from SOMB I and II and your time in the industry, and forces you and your team to critically apply all of the concepts. Students will have to make strategic decisions for staffing both retail and wholesale channels, quantity of back office support staff, loan officer compensation, and anticipated loan volume as it relates to product and price. Additional decisions include dollars allocated to marketing, technology, and pipeline hedging.

There is no final exam for SOMB III. Successful and active participation in the simulation and the group presentation results in a certificate of completion for the class. Successful completion of SOMB I, II, and III results in your Accredited Mortgage Professional Designation.

Those interested in School of Mortgage Banking III may also be interested in MBA Education's Future Leaders Program and the Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) Designation.
