Genearlene D. Neill

Genearlene "Gene" Neill is Vice President of Human Resources for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). Neill is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of MBA's overall business plan and strategic direction, specifically in the areas of talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, benefits, compensation and payroll administration. Neill has served as a strategic partner with members of the association's executive management group and business teams. Prior to joining MBA in 1981, Neill served as a Compensation Analyst with the American Petroleum Institute and earlier as the American Bankers Association HR Representative.
Neill received her undergraduate degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. She pursued additional graduate work at George Washington University and University of Maryland at College Park. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and is a past recipient of the HR Leadership Award for the Dr. J.P. London Award for Promoting Ethical Behavior.
