Hank Cunningham, CMB, is President of Cunningham & Company, a company he founded in 1990.  In September 2015, Cunningham & Company was acquired by First Mortgage Company, LLC based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The combined company is licensed to originate in 20 states, had origination volume of $2.1B in 2015 and currently services just over $4.0B. 

Hank has been active in community and industry organizations having served in 2011 as Chairman of MBA's Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG).  He also served on MBA's Board of Directors from 2009-2012, has been a member of MBA's Regulatory Reform Task Force, Warehouse Lending Task Force and GSE Policy Task Force.  He is past President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas (MBAC) and currently chairs the Legislative Committee for MBAC.  He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Greensboro Housing Development Partnership, focused on creating housing opportunities in Greensboro, NC. In 2011, Hank Cunningham was named the Mortgage Banker of the Year by MBAC and was presented the Andrew D. Woodward Distinguished Service Award from MBA for his dedication and prominent service to MBA and the mortgage lending industry.   In 2011, he was also elected to the Hall of Fame of the Greensboro Regional Realtors Association. He is a graduate of Duke University, married to Sallie Cunningham and has two children, Tripp and Sarah Cunningham.  Tripp is employed by Cunningham & Company as Vice President, Retail Production.
