Richard W. H. "Rich" Bennion
MBA's Oregon and Washington Ambassador
Mr. Bennion joined HomeStreet Bank in 1977 and currently serves as the Bank's Executive Vice President, Residential Construction and Affiliated Businesses. Additionally, he is Chair of the Windermere Mortgage Services Board of Managers. Prior to his current position, Mr. Bennion was Executive Vice President and Residential Lending Director since 1995. He previously managed the Bank's Seattle Metro, Tacoma and Federal Way mortgage branches over a 15-year period from 1980 to 1995.
He has been a member of the Fannie Mae Western Business Center Advisory Board since 2004, Chair of the Housing Partnership of Seattle from 2001 to 2007, and a member of the University of Washington's Milgard School of Business Advisory Board since 2004.
Mr. Bennion is Past Director of the Homebuilders Association of Tacoma-Pierce County, and Past Director and President of the Puget Sound Mortgage Lenders Association and the Washington Mortgage Bankers Association. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association's Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG) -- serving as RESBOG's 2017 Chair -- and sits on the MBA Board of Directors.
Mr. Bennion holds a bachelor's degree in History and China Regional Studies and a masters of Business Administration, both from the University of Washington. Notably, he is a graduate of MBA's School of Mortgage Banking.
