MAA Action Week

Engage in Advocacy April 29-May 3!

MAA Action Week is a national, industry-wide campaign dedicated to helping real estate finance professionals learn how to become more engaged in political advocacy that supports our industry. It allows ALL of us to get involved in the legislative and regulatory process on issues that directly impact real estate finance professionals. Membership in MAA can make a difference in how YOU and your company drive positive change by adding your voice to our collective efforts.

Why it matters: Advocacy happens 365 days a year. Through regular contact with your lawmakers and their staff members via MAA Calls to Action and other sustained “grasstops” efforts, you can establish yourself as a “go-to” constituent for our industry.

Run a campaign: Sign up to promote the importance of advocacy within your company or organization. Last year, nearly 130 companies and organizations ran campaigns to engage real estate finance professionals in advocacy. That level of involvement was pivotal in maintaining a strong, unified voice in Washington, D.C. MAA members represent a broad range of industry professionals who stand ready to take action on critical issues!
