Mrs. Carmack is a commercial mortgage professional, with 15+ years of experience in closing, servicing, and asset management on both life insurance and CMBS portfolios. Mrs. Carmack started her career at Ameritas Investment Partners in 2001 as a Loan Closer, and transferred to asset management in 2007 where she specializes in limiting the risk exposure of the life company commercial mortgage portfolio through property surveillance, client and regulatory reporting, servicing administration, and default management. Mrs. Carmack received her B.S.B.A in Marketing from Xavier University in 2007, her M.B.A. from Xavier University in 2011, and Certified Commercial Mortgage Servicer designation in 2016.

Jennifer is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over 35 years of experience in the legal field as a Paralegal, title insurance, lending, and real estate finance. As a Senior Closer/Analyst, she collaborates with Bellwether Enterprise's origination teams on commercial and multifamily real estate financing projects across the U.S. Jennifer has held an Ohio Title Insurance License and brings extensive knowledge of state and federal real estate lending regulations, secondary market guidelines, and escrow requirements.

Travis Shafer represents mortgage lenders in the origination, sale and servicing of loans. Travis’s practice focuses primarily on loans that will be purchased by Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. His expertise encompasses both market rate and affordable transactions, including finance assumptions, funded and unfunded forward commitments, low-income housing tax credit projects, historic tax credit projects, bond financing, subordinate financing, ground lease and lease-back structures, tax exemptions, rehabilitation projects and master lease transactions structured for Delaware Statutory Trust borrowers. He previously served as an intern with the Supreme Court of Delaware and has acted for mortgage lenders as a law clerk and project manager on multifamily transactions. Prior to joining Krooth and Altman LLP in 2015, Travis served as an Intern with the Supreme Court of Delaware. Travis began acting for mortgage lenders as a Law Clerk and Project Manager on multifamily transactions in 2012.
