Frankie Jones is a Vice President and Managing Director in the Mortgage & Real Estate Department for Lincoln Financial Group. In his role, Jones oversees mortgage closing, servicing, and asset management for Lincoln’s commercial mortgage loan portfolio. He is also responsible for manager selection, due diligence, and portfolio construction for Lincoln’s real estate private equity funds portfolio. He currently serves as a vice chair of the MBA Servicer Council and co-chair of the MBA Life Co. Executive Servicers Roundtable. Prior to joining Lincoln Financial in his current capacity, Jones was a partner at Smith Moore Leatherwood LLP where he primarily focused his law practice on commercial real estate, land use and corporate law. He is a graduate of Davidson College and UVA School of Law.
Katie Schwarting, is a partner at Seyfarth Shall LLP, where she serves as the Chair of Seyfarth’s Servicing & Special Servicing Practice. Katie's practice focuses on commercial mortgaged back securities (CMBS) including conduit and single asset, single borrower securitizations, collateralized loan obligations (CLO), and Freddie Mac securitizations—both the K Series and Small Balance Loan products representing special servicers, master servicers, sub-servicers and investors (B Piece buyers). Her practice is firmly rooted in providing comprehensive legal solutions to clients' regulatory challenges related to securitization, portfolio, and warehouse servicing agreements, including disclosure, compliance, and audit requirements. Katie also handles sale and purchases of securities, the collapse of pool trusts, workout and foreclosure strategies, asset management, transfers of servicing, and facilitating the sale of commercial mortgage servicing rights, cementing her reputation as an indispensable resource in the realm of real estate finance law.

Joni leads a team of 145+ professionals responsible for all servicing and asset management operations related to PGIM Real Estate’s loan servicing portfolio across multiple capital sources valued at $115.2 billion as of December 31, 2020. Assets under management include Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, Ag, international and the company’s general account. Joni joined Real Estate Loan Services in 2005 and has served in various capacities. In her prior role as COO, Joni partnered closely with the senior management team to manage strategic planning and decision making, oversee the daily operational activities, disseminate internal communications, set goals for performance and growth, and promote company culture and vision.
Adam Fox is a senior director in Fitch Ratings’ U.S. CMBS group. His primary areas of expertise are commercial mortgage servicing and U.S. commercial securitization. Adam is currently responsible for Fitch’s North American commercial mortgage servicing group and leads a team of three analysts covering approximately 45 commercial mortgage servicers. In addition, he maintains an active role in new issuance and surveillance commercial securitization rating reviews as well as European servicer evaluations. Prior to his current position, Adam led a team of five associates who perform CMBS surveillance and authored a variety of research and criteria reports. Adam was previously director of data management at CRIIMI MAE where he spent seven years. During his tenure at CRIIMI MAE, he worked with the investor reporting, master/primary and special servicing groups before moving to information technology where he was responsible for the development of servicing and reporting software as well as data management for the company. Adam earned his BBA in finance and international business from Marymount University. He is also an active member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council and Mortgage Bankers Association.
Mr. Harrison is the Chief Operating Officer at Midland Loan Services. In this role, his primary focus is providing leadership, management, and strategic vision to ensure that Midland has the best team members, technology, and operational procedures in place, in support of the company’s goal of always providing a best-in-class experience for its customers. David has a broad background in commercial real estate, including capital markets, asset management, underwriting, workouts, business development and client relations. David is currently a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance Council’s Board of Governors, Executive Committee, and the chair of the Programming Committee. Mr. Harrison received a BS in Political Science and a Minor in Economics from the University of Houston in 1997.
Steve is the Managing Director of Commercial Mortgage Closing and Servicing for Principal Real Estate Investors, the dedicated real estate unit of Principal Global Investors. He is responsible for managing the closing and servicing activities for Principal’s $30.0 billion servicing portfolio. These responsibilities include establishing strategic direction, providing relationship management to clients, overseeing risk management, pricing of new business and managing profitability. Steve is currently a member of the MBA's Commercial Board of Governors.
Emily Rasmussen serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Resilience Insurance Analytics, an insurance consulting firm specialized in advising the nation’s top commercial lenders, investment banks, investment trusts, and issuers of private credit on most of the market’s largest and most complex transactions. With a view across 8,000 deals a year spanning the Agency, Private label CMBS, SASB, CLO, construction, bridge and balance sheet spaces, Rasmussen offers broad and dynamic insight into evolving insurance coverage expectations across market sectors, as well as the challenges borrowers face in meeting them, and the realistic availability and acceptability of proposed alternatives to legacy lender insurance requirements. As President and COO, she and her experienced team are responsible for interfacing directly with commercial lenders, GSEs, rating agencies, master and special servicers, commercial borrowers, and insurance brokers, playing the role of ambassador, educator, and facilitator to each, with the ultimate goal of maintaining risk averse credit underwriting for lender clients. Prior to joining Resilience, Ms. Rasmussen spent seven years as a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Harbor Group Consulting. While there, she applied her years spent as a CMBS closer to hone the transaction management skills of the insurance focused review team. Ms. Rasmusen holds a BA from Michigan State University and a JD from Villanova University school of Law. She is a member of the CREFC Women’s Network, the Chief network for women executive leaders, and a recent addition to the ASTM property resilience standards working group.
