Angel Hernandez is Chief Strategy Officer for Stavvy, a Boston-based digital mortgage fintech. In his current role, Angel spearheads the company’s engagement with strategic industry partners, including investors and government agencies, supports the company’s M&A activities, and promotes Stavvy’s vision for innovation in mortgage operations with internal and external stakeholders. Angel joined Stavvy from the Housing Policy Council (HPC), where he served as the VP of Capital Markets Policy where he focused on systemic issues impacting mortgage securitization, the secondary market, systemic safety and soundness, and the adoption of technology and innovation in housing finance. Previous to that, Angel was Director, Mortgage-Backed Securities Program Policy and Strategic Planning at Ginnie Mae. Angel was responsible for the agency's policy framework, the implementation of securitization platform updates, addressing legislative and regulatory issues, and spearheading key strategic initiatives, including the agency’s COVID-19 strategic response as well as the Digital Mortgage program. Earlier in his career, Angel held positions in community relations, brand marketing, non-profit development, and sales management. Angel earned his JD and Securities Law Certificate at the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.

Dana Federspiel is a SVP in the Servicing Technologies division of ICE, a leading provider of integrated software, data and analytics to the mortgage lending, servicing and real estate industries. She oversees ICE'S loan servicing and late-stage default solutions, including innovation strategy and product delivery. Prior to her current position, Dana served as the managing director of enterprise product strategy, with a focus on shared innovation across all divisions of ICE. Dana has also held roles in sales and account management, providing best practices recommendations and cost benefit & risk analyses. Dana has over 20 years of mortgage servicing experience in various roles spanning the entire servicing life cycle.
Michael Keaton joined Ocwen's Business Development Team in late 2022 to help grow the subservicing portfolio. Prior to Ocwen, Michael served as the Chief Servicing Officer at Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing from 2012 to 2022. Prior to joining Shellpoint, Michael held several executive-level roles at Resurgent Capital Services between 2002 and 2012, including Vice President of Mortgage Servicing and Recovery. He began his career at Wendover Financial Services, where he spent more than 10 years and finished his tenure as Vice President of Default Administration at a time when Wendover was the nation’s largest servicer of subprime mortgage loans.
Courtney Thompson, EVP Head of Servicing at CMG Financial, has over 20 years of experience in high-risk regulatory solution management, operations, innovation, and human-first strategies. Passionate about bringing the consumer to the forefront of converged mortgage universe through the delivery of meaningful, connected, efficient solutions, she has held executive roles in technology, fintech, consulting and servicing operations. Committed to the fact that “there’s got to be a better way,” Courtney is leading by example with CMG’s new servicing strategy. She has a real knack for deploying innovation in legacy processes.
