Jay Pascoe became the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Ohio Mortgage Bankers Association on January 1, 2020. Jay is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the association and advancing the association’s advocacy, education, and financial strategic objectives. Jay also promotes OMBA at national and state-wide events. Prior to joining OMBA, Jay was with 2 national trade associations in Washington DC for 17 years. He was assistant Vice President of Membership for the National Association of Manufacturers for 9 years, where he managed a team of 18 individuals. In his first year with the association, he returned the division to a net gain in dues revenue after over five years of losses. After 3 years the division exceeded the association’s objective for net gain growth, followed by a 10-year high in member recruitment and retention. Prior to NAM, Jay was Director of Membership for the American Trucking Association for 6 years, where he implemented traditional and new programs for member recruitment and retention.

With 10 years of event planning and association management experience, Caitlin Guerra is a master multitasker, chaos coordinator, and vendor wrangler. On any given day, she might lead back-to-back Zoom meetings, build online event registration forms, track down venues for upcoming professional association events, or research promo item vendors. As Vice President of Management Services at Confluent Strategies, Caitlin leverages her vast skill set to plan, coordinate, and execute meetings and events for five statewide mortgage bankers associations (MBAs), eight local MBA chapters, and six conferences. With a staff of five, she oversees all marketing and administrative tasks, which ensures seamless operations, communications, and implementation. Caitlin joined Confluent Strategies in 2017 as an event coordinator. Since then, the company’s association management business has experienced double-digit growth. Caitlin earned a B.A. in hospitality and resort management from the University of Memphis and holds a certification in Hotel Industry Analytics. Outside of work, she enjoys cheering on the Memphis Grizzlies and Memphis Tigers and spending time with her husband, daughter, and beloved Corgi.
Julie is currently the Mortgage Market Leader for the Eastern Oklahoma and Arkansas home loan teams. She began her career at Bank of Oklahoma in October of 2005 as a mortgage banker. During her tenure as mortgage banker she won six Perfect Circle awards that celebrated top producers in mortgage, and received the One Club award for management in 2022. Julie progressed into management in 2014 and was promoted to Market Leader in 2021. She received her degree in Business Management (with an emphasis in Finance and Marketing) from Oklahoma State University. She served as a Tri-Chair for BOK supporting the TAUW, she is the President of the Oklahoma Mortgage Bankers Association, and serves on the board for the Tulsa Day Center and Jenks Chamber of Commerce.
