Alan Fowler, CMB, AMP

Alan Fowler, CMB, is the Senior Vice President of Mortgage Services at Nusenda Credit Union in Albuquerque, NM, a position he has held since 2019. Alan has also been the Principal of Fowler Financial Education and Consulting, LLC, since 2009. Most of Alan’s 43 years of experience is with Independent Mortgage Bankers. He is active with MBA, serving as the CMB Society Chair and is the New Mexico State Ambassador. Alan is also a recipient of the Michael Rosser, CMB Lifetime Achievement Award, is a Master Faculty Fellow for the School of Mortgage Banking, and has served or is currently serving as Chair of the State and Local Committee, the CMB Society, the Credit Union Network and the Loan Production Committee. Alan has also served as the President of the New Mexico Mortgage Lenders Association (1991 & 2012), Chairman of the New Mexico Small Business Investment Corporation, President of The Forum of Real Estate Finance and President of the American Alliance of Loan Management. Alan is also on the Board of Directors for the Ocotillo Foundation, X-Factor Ministries, Gracious Ministries and the Anderson School of Management Alumni Association at the University of New Mexico.
