President of Mortgage Banking, Lument

As president of mortgage banking for Lument, Tyler Griffin is responsible for overseeing the company’s entire loan production and debt capital markets businesses. She manages operations across all loan platforms, supports our technology initiatives, and plays a key role in rolling out Lument’s growth strategy. Prior to Lument, Tyler was chief operating officer (COO) at predecessor Hunt Real Estate Capital, having previously served as COO at Dwight Capital, which she established as an FHA/MAP lender with GNMA servicing capabilities. Before that, she was senior director and head of FHA programs at Capital One Multifamily Finance after serving as vice president at Beech Street Capital. Tyler graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in economics and financial economics from Vanderbilt University.

Senior Vice President / Managing Director, Northmarq

As managing director of debt/equity in Northmarq's Salt Lake City regional office, Nate works with diverse capital sources to originate, underwrite and close construction, permanent and bridge financing. In his career, he has closed more than $5 billion of financing with various lenders including banks, insurance companies, CMBS, credit unions, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD along with private capital and equity sources. Nate joined Western Capital Realty Advisors in 2005 until they were acquired by Northmarq in 2017. Nate earned dual Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Utah in economics and Spanish and has an MBA from Westminster College. He also has a Utah real estate license.

Managing Director - Head of Commercial Mortgage Investments, Nuveen Real Estate

Jason leads the U.S. Debt business for Nuveen Real Estate and is responsible for all aspects of commercial real estate (CRE) debt based investments including investment strategy, originations, asset management and oversight of Nuveen’s 3rd party credit-focused strategies. He is a member of the Nuveen Real Estate Investment Committee and Investment Committee for the Core-Plus Real Estate Debt Strategy. He is a seasoned investor having led over $30B in transactions over his 20 year career. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, Jason was a managing director at ACORE Capital leading a team responsible for sourcing and execution of structured finance investments, including mortgage, mezzanine and preferred equity. As one of the initial employees of ACORE, he helped grow the firm from a start-up, to one of the largest private lenders in the U.S. Jason also held roles at GE Capital Real Estate. Most recently he was a senior director in the strategic capital group focused on whole loan origination with institutional borrowers. He also held leadership and investing roles in the North America Equity business. Earlier in his career, Jason was an Associate in Mergers Acquisitions Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch. Jason holds a B.S. from Illinois State University and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School. He is a graduate of the GE Financial Management Program and is a member of Commercial Real Estate Finance Council.

Executive Managing Director & Co-Leader, JLL Capital Markets

Gerard is an Executive Managing Director in the Pittsburgh office of JLL Capital Markets, Americas, and co-leader of JLL Real Estate Capital. He came to JLL as part of the HFF acquisition and has 41 years of experience in commercial real estate investment banking. Gerard specializes in the execution and expansion of the firm’s capital markets platform through the representation of institutional and private owners of institutional-grade commercial real estate properties throughout the United States. As a member of the JLL Capital Markets Executive Committee, Gerard is responsible for the overall direction of the firm’s U.S. offices. Additionally, he serves as co-leader of JLL Real Estate Capital (JREC), which includes agency and bridge lending, servicing, and asset management. He is also an officer of Kensington Capital Advisor, JLL’s global derivatives business. Gerard received his undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon University and MBA from Duquesne University. He began his career at HFF in 1998 through the acquisition of PNS Realty Partners. He joined PNS in 1984 and became a principal in 1992.

Managing Director, Northeast Market Manager, Real Estate Banking, Commercial Bank, J.P. Morgan

Julie is a Managing Director in the J.P. Morgan Chase Real Estate Banking group. Julie leads the Central Region in delivering customized debt solutions and a full range of banking products to real estate developers, investors, operating companies, and investment funds across the US. In her prior role as the Director of the National Subscription Lending Platform, Julie led the practice focused on providing subscription debt solutions to real estate funds. Julie began her career structuring and underwriting commercial real estate loans for LaSalle Bank in 1995, before moving to Jones Lang LaSalle to assist clients with land development strategies. In 1998, she rejoined LaSalle Bank to develop and manage an institutional real estate division before joining RBS Citizens in 2008, where she was hired to build out a team focused on the generation of new business and asset management for a portfolio of real estate loans. She serves as President of the board of the Goldie Initiative and was co-chair for the 2022 Goldie Gala. Julie is also a current board member of the Chicago Chapter of National Association of Industrial and Office Professionals (NAIOP) and The Wellness House, a non-profit serving cancer patients and their families. Julie is a Co-Chair of the Executive Bank Roundtable for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA). Julie received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Illinois.
