The Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU) designation program has allowed me to elevate my underwriting skills and knowledge. The designation also signifies my level of underwriting expertise. I personally look forward to my continued education classes for my CRU renewals, as they provide the opportunity to refresh my knowledge on a regular basis. The MBA has created a detailed and comprehensive program that would be a substantial benefit to any mortgage professional that seeks to gain an enhanced knowledge of underwriting standards.
Jeanne Tillman, CRU, ActionCenter Customer Experience Professional, Genworth Mortgage Insurance
Obtaining the CRU designation was a great way to confirm my underwriting expertise to myself and others even though it had been several years since I had been in a frontline underwriting role. I appreciated the self-paced nature of the program and thought the course content was appropriate and relevant. I enjoyed the experience so much that it inspired me to pursue my CMB designation.
Sheila M Klostermann, CMB, CRU, Senior Manager- Quality Assurance, Genworth Mortgage Insurance
I am grateful for the CRU course and assisting me to achieve this status. The course was very informative and takes the knowledge that I had to another level. The status of a certified Credit Underwriter will assist with my next goal of being VA credit approved underwriter.
