As women remain under represented in leadership roles, we offer real estate professionals with the opportunity to strengthen their networks, conduct business, and achieve personal and professional growth through regular in-person and online events. mPower addresses today’s issues and discusses solutions and strategies to combat workplace challenges. Together, we are securing a stronger future for women in our industry.

Our Mission:

As the leading voice for the real estate finance industry, MBA creates opportunities to leverage the power and influence of women. We provide the platform for women to strengthen their networks, achieve professional growth and development, and to exchange ideas and information about our industry and the broader economy.

Our Founder: Marcia M. Davies

Marcia Davies is Chief Operating Officer for the Mortgage Bankers Association. Ten years ago, she organized a get-together with approximately 75 women for lunch at MBA's Annual Convention and Expo. The meeting was designed to encourage dialogue around how best to help advocate for opportunities to support and advance women at all levels throughout the mortgage banking industry. That conversation has quickly evolved into an organized initiative entitled mPower, MBA Promoting Opportunities for Women to Extend their Reach. Under her leadership, mPower continues to provide the best-in-class conference and webinar programming, networking events, and online opportunities to stay engaged.
