Andrew K. Stutzman is a Philadelphia trial lawyer who founded and chairs the financial services litigation practice at Stradley Ronon. Andrew resolves complex disputes through litigation, especially finance-related matters. He has tried civil cases of diverse subject matters in many state, federal and ADR courts throughout his career and assisted in the defense of government investigations and criminal proceedings. Andrew’s team resolves disputes involving consumer or commercial financial products or services. Andrew is often invited to discuss finance litigation topics, and has been privileged to appear at events of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Risk Management Association.

Stephen Masley is a Partner at Hinshaw who represents the country’s largest mortgage servicers, credit card issuers, auto lenders, and other consumer financial services providers in national and multidistrict litigation involving federal and state law claims and class actions. In addition to his extensive trial and appellate practice, Stephen regularly defends clients in disputes with state and federal regulators nationwide. Masley also routinely handles all aspects of consumer bankruptcy cases on behalf of multiple categories of creditors filed under Chapters 7, 11, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code. As a lawyer and business advisor, Masley provides clients with creative and practical solutions to address concerns in emerging litigation trends and investigations.
Kim Phan is a Partner at Troutman Pepper Locke, where she counsels mortgage companies and other financial institutions on privacy and data security law. Her practice focuses on compliance with key federal and state statutes, including the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and evolving state privacy frameworks such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Phan advises clients on integrating privacy and data security considerations throughout product development, marketing, and business operations. Her work includes helping organizations design and implement effective privacy and data security programs, as well as providing strategic guidance on regulatory compliance and risk management. She also assists companies with data breach prevention and response, including developing incident response plans, establishing security controls to reduce breach risk, and assessing legal and regulatory obligations following a data security incident.
