CREF Track Session 8: Listening Session on HMDA Reform
MBA has long called for the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act to exempt investment real estate, which adds nothing to the goals of HMDA. Join Amy Frazey, Senior Vice President and Director of the Standard at StanCorp Mortgage Investors and John Waldeck, Head of Real Estate Debt Portfolio at Pacific Life Investments as they lead a discussion of HMDA for guests from the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau. MBA is calling for new rulemaking on HMDA to eliminate this regulatory burden that provides little to no consumer value.
