Andrew K. Stutzman is a Philadelphia trial lawyer who founded and chairs the financial services litigation practice at Stradley Ronon. Andrew resolves complex disputes through litigation, especially finance-related matters. He has tried civil cases of diverse subject matters in many state, federal and ADR courts throughout his career and assisted in the defense of government investigations and criminal proceedings. Andrew’s team resolves disputes involving consumer or commercial financial products or services. Andrew is often invited to discuss finance litigation topics, and has been privileged to appear at events of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Risk Management Association.

Sasha Leonhardt, Partner at Orrick, represents financial services industry clients in a wide range of enforcement, litigation, and regulatory matters. He has assisted clients in resolving government investigations and enforcement actions before several federal and state agencies, including the United States Department of Justice (DOJ), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), and state financial regulators and attorneys general. Leonhardt also has substantial experience advising clients on the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), Military Lending Act (MLA), Consumer Financial Protection Act (CFPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Housing Act (FHA), and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). He advises companies, non-profits, and industry associations with consumer privacy issues arising from the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and Regulation P, the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and its Affiliate Marketing Rule, as well as state and federal laws that address data privacy and information security.
Brian McGrath counsels companies on a wide range of complex commercial legal issues. As Partner and the co-chair of Hinshaw and Culbertson’s Consumer Financial Services Practice Group, he has helped clients navigate litigation involving financial services, intellectual property, antitrust, and white-collar criminal investigations throughout his career. An outside-the-box thinker, McGrath partners with his clients to deliver simple, tailored solutions to their legal problems. In recent years, McGrath has leveraged his broad experience to focus on serving clients in the financial services industry. He works with many financial institutions—including mortgage loan servicers—regarding lender liability and consumer protection statutes. He also handles complaints concerning the Truth in Lending Act (TILA) and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), as well as regulatory issues involving Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) enforcement actions.
Fernando Rivera-Maissonet is a partner in the firm's Consumer Financial Services practice group, where he counsels and represents financial institutions on consumer finance litigation, and claims brought by government agencies. With over a decade of experience, he defends financial institutions in claims based on consumer protection statutes such as the Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), New York General Business Law § 349, and New York Banking Law §§ 6-l and 6-m. Fernando serves on the New York City Bar Association's Consumer Affairs committee and has been recognized as a 2025 New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Star and 2024 Top Lawyer Under 40 by the Hispanic National Bar Association.
