David Brickman

David M. Brickman is Chief Executive Officer of NewPoint Real Estate Capital, a prominent commercial real estate finance company providing lending solutions to investors of residential and healthcare properties. He also serves as a Senior Advisor to Stone Point Capital, a leading private equity firm in the real estate and financial services arena. Brickman was previously CEO of Freddie Mac, one of the nation’s largest providers of mortgage financing, where he spent over 20 years. He is well known for his tenure as head of Freddie Mac Multifamily, where he led the $2.5 trillion company through a period of significant growth, change and disruption. Brickman’s educational accomplishments include doctoral coursework for a Ph.D. in economics and real estate at MIT, a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
