Laura Walker

Laura Walker is a Supervisory Special Agent at the FBI’s Washington Field Office. She oversees a squad of agents and professional staff who investigate bank fraud and money laundering matters and has over 19 years of investigative experience at the FBI. Prior to supervising a financial crimes squad, SSA Walker served as a supervisor and then Unit Chief in the FBI’s Health Care Fraud Unit.

Before being promoted, SSA Walker investigated various types of health care fraud and drug diversion cases at the FBI’s Washington Field Office and public corruption and mortgage fraud cases in Northwest Indiana.

SSA Walker is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Prior to joining the FBI, she worked in public accounting for two of the Big 6 firms and in the financial services industry.
