Mindy Stephens is the Manager of Identity Management at AAMVA, and has 17 years of industry experience; half of which has been with AAMVA. Mindy is a vital member of the Identity Management (IDM) team offering subject matter expertise and supporting the department’s work portfolio to include Mobile Driver License (mDL), physical credentials, identity proofing and vetting standards and biometrics. Prior to her role in Identity Management, Mindy worked as a Lead Business Analyst in AAMVA’s Driver Systems department where she supported several different driver and verification systems. Before her time at AAMVA, Mindy worked for the Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS) Driver License Division (DLD) for nearly 9 years. During her time with Utah, Mindy held several different positions, however most of her time was dedicated to the DLD’s system modernization. As a part of the modernization efforts, Mindy organized and led efforts for training and testing across the span of the project, covering both headquarters and field office operations.
