Now Required: MBA Inspection Form v. 4.03

If you complete multifamily property inspections for Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac, this update is critical.

Effective January 1, 2026, both agencies require the MBA Inspection Form v. 4.03.
This workshop walks you through the updated form so you can stay compliant, avoid costly mistakes, and submit with confidence.

You’ll also get practical guidance on photo requirements, including:

  • Which property photos are required
  • How to upload them correctly
  • What reviewers are actually looking for

If you’ve experienced questions or rejections related to inspection photos, this session provides clear, actionable direction to help you streamline your process and reduce rework.

Join the MBA Inspection Form Workshop to get up to speed on the new requirements, improve efficiency, and submit inspections with confidence.

The MBA Commercial/Multifamily Standard Inspection Form is an essential tool for evaluating the physical condition of commercial and multifamily properties. While used by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac servicers for annual inspections, Fannie Mae now requires originating lenders to complete and submit the form within 45 days of loan acquisition.

In this interactive, virtual workshop, MBA Education and industry experts will provide step-by-step guidance on accurately completing the inspection form.

Participants will:

  • Analyze a sample property condition using a Fannie Mae redacted property condition report
  • Review the structure and components of the form
  • Determine appropriate Fannie Mae ratings
  • Identify potential risks
  • Ensure compliance with Fannie Mae’s updated requirements
