Max's practice primarily focuses on the representation of national lending institutions in all aspects of commercial lending, workouts, and restructurings. He has extensive experience in handling multi-state commercial loans real estate loans, construction loans, and asset-based loans for lenders across the county.
Luke is Manager - Head of CML Closing & Servicing for MEMBERS Capital Advisors. In this role, Luke manages the closing process and all aspects of loan servicing and commercial mortgage asset management. Luke has more than 13 years of experience in the commercial mortgage industry, having started in investment accounting prior to beginning his role in the closing & servicing department. Luke graduated from the University of Wisconsin. He earned his Commercial Certified Mortgage Servicer (CCMS) designation in 2018. He is a member of several industry groups, including the Life Company Servicers Executive Roundtable and the mPact Servicing Advisory Committee.
As District Capital’s Managing Director, Crystal wears many different hats. She uses her extensive experience and knowledge of the mortgage banking process to create a bridge between lenders & borrowers. She does this by shepherding loans from the closing process all the way through to servicing for the life of the loan. Throughout her career she has been very active with the MBA. She has served as Chair of the Servicer Council Board, has led numerous committees and has most recently joined COMBOG. She also was an integral part of creating the Certified Commercial Mortgage Servicing designation.
Melanie Lewis is Vice President and Closing Manager at Bellwether Enterprise (BWE). With a focus on the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac platforms, Melanie leads her team of closers with a commitment to driving process improvement and enhancing business productivity while fostering relationships with internal and external partners. Melanie guides her team through the launching of new products and works to ensure her team stays informed about market trends and agency guideline updates. With over 10 years of experience in the CRE space, Melanie has been with BWE since 2018 and previously worked with NewPoint (fka Barings) as an Agency Closer.
