Pamela Perry

VP - Single-Family Equitable Housing, Freddie Mac

Pamela Perry is vice president of equitable housing within Mission and Community Engagement in the Freddie Mac Single-Family Acquisitions Division. She focuses on increasing Freddie Mac’s thought leadership and impact to eradicate disparities in homeownership and expand wealth for Black and Latino families, while creating solutions for communities of color more broadly. She also oversees Single-Family’s strategic innovation to support the organization’s mission to break through historical barriers and expand access to homeownership for all Americans, particularly in underserved Black and Latino communities. Prior to this role, Ms. Perry was a senior associate general counsel in Freddie Mac’s Legal division. For nine years, she partnered with colleagues across Freddie Mac, regulators and housing advocates in promoting fair lending and access to credit for minority borrowers. Before Freddie Mac, she advised on solutions for complex transactions with firms such as J.P. Morgan Chase and Co. and the government of District of Columbia, where she served as deputy attorney general overseeing counsel on large scale community development projects, such as the development of Nationals Park and the D.C. Wharf. She also managed policy and government relations for a nonprofit focusing on consumer credit and financial protection issues. Ms. Perry holds an A.B. in economics from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as the managing editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review.

David Battany

Executive Vice President, Capital Markets, Guild Mortgage Company

Mr. Battany is the Executive Vice President of Capital Markets for Guild Mortgage Company. He oversees the firm’s capital market activities, including pricing, hedging, and secondary market execution. He’s also responsible for Guild’s credit policy, shipping, and product development functions. Mr. Battany manages investor relationships with GSEs, government agencies, and private investors. Prior to joining Guild, Mr. Battany was Chief Product Strategist for Penny Mac from 2012 to 2015, where he was responsible for managing the product development group, as well as its relationships with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA, Ginnie Mae, and mortgage insurance companies. From 1990 to 2012, Mr. Battany was with Fannie Mae, based in Pasadena, California where he served as Director of Single-Family Business and was responsible for managing the firm's relationships with west coast based lenders. Mr. Battany began his career in 1986 with First Interstate Bank of California, where he traded and hedged the bank's mortgage production. Mr. Battany is the chairman of the National MBA’s Residential Loan Production Committee. He was previous chairman of the National MBA’s Secondary and Capital Markets Committee, was previously a board member of the National MBA Residential Board of Governors and is a past board member of the California MBA. Mr. Battany is a board member of Habitat for Humanity, and was a previous board member of Rebuilding Together. Mr. Battany graduated in 1985 from the University of Colorado's school of Business Administration with a BS degree in Finance.

Michael J. Lima

Managing Director - Correspondent Lending, Click n’ Close, Inc

Michael J. Lima is the Managing Director for the Correspondent Lending Division of Click n’ Close Mortgage. He is responsible for leading the acquisition of closed loans from third party originators including the company’s proprietary down payment assistance programs and whole loan trading business. Before joining the organization in 2016, Michael was the SVP and Chief Risk Officer at Guardian Mortgage, where he drove strategic initiatives with a focus on enterprise risk management, capital markets and servicing. Prior to Guardian Mortgage, Michael was the SVP of Capital Markets and Correspondent Lending at Nationstar Mortgage. Throughout his career Michael has held several positions in servicing, risk management, and marketing including a seventeen-year tenure with Fannie Mae.
