Marina Walsh, CMB, is Vice President of Industry Analysis in MBA's Research and Economics Department, specializing in industry performance benchmarking for residential lenders and servicers. She leads the management and direction for the Mortgage Bankers Performance Reports, the Peer Group Survey and Roundtable Program, the Servicing Operations Study, the Warehouse Lender Study, and other studies that measure lender performance. She is MBA's spokesperson for all servicing-related studies including the National Delinquency Survey and the Loan Monitoring Survey. Prior to joining MBA, Walsh was a manager in Ernst and Young's Real Estate Advisory Services Group. She has previously been named to HousingWire's "Women of Influence" list. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a Master of Public Administration degree from Columbia University.

Gina M. Botello joined Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC in June 2008 and serves as Senior Vice President, Quality Control Originations. Gina brings 30+ years of industry experience to the Carrington team and in-depth knowledge of the various regulatory agencies’ Quality Control requirements. She oversees all aspects of pre-fund and post-fund reviews, as well as early payment default and canceled denied audits. In addition, she partners with various operational areas across the lending platform to identify areas of opportunity for quality improvement. Gina recently led the development of enhanced Quality Control processes to address the increasing risk associated with Non-Agency loan products.
Ed is a compliance operations powerhouse with over 20 years in mortgage lending, half of which in the Chief Compliance Officer role. He leads compliance operations, fair lending, HMDA, vendor integrations, and cross-functional compliance deployment for our clients. He learned the industry from the ground-up, starting in the mailroom then becoming a Sales Representative, Product Manager, and Director of Secondary Market Sales in the wholesale lending division. This journey gave him a deep understanding of business units, their concerns, and their needs. An experienced Loan Originator, Ed is also a highly skilled LOS administrator. He has a deep understanding of the sales team workflow, the importance of smooth processes and the compliance checks needed along the way.
Dank joined Deephaven in January 2015 as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. At Deephaven, he is responsible for legal and regulatory compliance, counter party risk, vendor management/servicer oversight and human resources. Dank sits on Deephaven’s executive team and plays an active role in driving the growth and strategy of the business. Prior to Deephaven, Dank served as EVP for HSBC Holdings, PLC as head of general compliance and counterparty risk and was a member of the executive team as well. Prior to HSBC, he was a partner at Katten Muchin Rosenman, a national law firm where his practice focused on mortgage origination and servicing, and litigation management. Dank has over 30 years experience in the mortgage industry and is a licensed attorney in North Carolina.
