David Madigan

David P. Madigan is the President of the Risk-Based Housing Insurance business unit at Assurant where he oversees the lender placed insurance, manufactured housing, voluntary homeowners, condominium and antique auto business lines.

As President of the Risk-Based Housing Insurance business unit, Madigan is responsible for all activities of the businesses including sales and marketing, client relationships, underwriting, product and service offerings, product pricing, contracting, account management, industry relations, compliance, and business growth initiatives.

In addition to his role as President of the Homeowners business, Madigan is also a member of the Board of Directors for American Security Insurance Company, Standard Guaranty Insurance Company and Voyager Indemnity Insurance Company

Prior to being named President of the Homeowners business in November of 2022,. Madigan held numerous senior management positions at Assurant including President of the lender place insurance business and President of the Assurant Insurance Agency.

Madigan holds property and casualty insurance licenses in over 40 states and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Florida.
