Servicing transfers affect both the buyer and the seller. The seller is responsible for producing several notifications, preparing files for transfer to the buyer, and completing escrow-related functions. The buyer forms an acquisition team and may add staff and office space, perform additional training, and upgrade or purchase equipment and software to effectively service the new loans.
Servicing Transfers Process discusses the tasks necessary for both the buyer and the seller to complete a successful servicing transfer. The course begins with a discussion of the buyer's acquisition team and the due diligence process. It then reviews the seller's responsibilities. It examines crucial RESPA requirements and closes with a discussion of other required notifications.
