    Ben Wu has more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience and serves as Executive Director of LoanScorecard, a leading partner for banks and investors seeking fair lending and loan-loss reserve technology solutions including the only automated underwriting engine for non-agency loans. Wu brought to market the first automated QM assessment tool making LoanScorecard top-of-mind for automated underwriting for portfolio loans. He diligently works alongside clients, addressing concerns and opportunities related to automated underwriting, non-QM, loan pricing, credit risk models, and portfolio management.

    Debbie Hoffman is Founder & CEO of Symmetry Blockchain Advisors working with clients in their endeavors related to education, strategy and development of blockchain solutions. With her experience in financial services, law and technology innovation, Debbie brings a unique perspective to blockchain innovation. Debbie was previously the Chief Legal Officer at Digital Risk and a finance attorney at Thacher Proffitt & Wood in New York. She served as a professor at the Florida A&M University College of Law and the University of Central Florida. In 2018 Debbie was named a NAWRB Roaring Thirty Winner.” In 2017 Debbie was named as a Top General Counsel by First Chair Awards, received an Honorable Mention in MReport’s Women in Housing and was a “Hot 100” in Mortgage Professional America. She was selected as a Woman of Influence by Housingwire Magazine multiple times and has been the receipt of two Stevie® Awards.

    Amanda M. Daeges, Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, U.S. Bank

    Amanda Daeges is Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for U.S. Bank. In her current role, Amanda supports U.S. Bank’s retail and wholesale mortgage divisions as mortgage origination attorney. She provides legal counsel related to the origination of mortgages through the Bank’s retail, correspondent, and HFA channels by advising on regulatory matters, product development, loan documentation, credit underwriting, and dispute resolution. She also serves as Chair for the U.S. Bank Law Division Diversity and Inclusion Council and is the current Vice Chair of the MBA Legal and Regulatory Compliance Committee.
    Prior to her current position, Amanda served as a consumer regulatory attorney at U.S. Bank and as Associate Counsel at the Minnesota Bankers Association.

    Scott E. Wortman is a Partner at Blank Rome LLP, with a practice focusing on consumer financial services litigation, including individual and class action defense, regulatory proceedings, and administrative investigations. Additionally, he represents and counsels clients on corporate and regulatory compliance procedures in a wide variety of consumer financial areas. Mr. Wortman is also a strategic advisor to FinTech and other digital business clients on privacy issues, data and cyber security, vendor management, and consumer protection.
